In my experience, it may make others more cautious toward religion and spirituality or attract negative experiences of this nature. I don't think this aspect on its own indicates what you're asking, but depending on house placement, Lucifer's sign, and the rest of the chart it's possible.

I have this aspect in my chart. Others have judged me for not sharing their spiritual beliefs. I doubt it's connected to this aspect, but it's interesting that Placidus puts my Lucifer in 11th House and that's the area of my life I most experienced criticism of my spiritual beliefs. If I had to guess, my spiritual beliefs would still be criticized if I chose to discuss them in an unsafe environment.

Personally, it seems more like this aspect shows in which area your spiritual views are seen as negative or antagonistic. In order to see if this aspect plays out the way you're asking, you would have to look at the sign Lucifer is in. The sign would show how a person copes with the negative reactions.

Do I seem to be right about anything? I've never manipulated anyone spiritually, so I'm assuming that its presence in my chart either isn't significant or plays out differently than you'd expect.

Hmm.. I could also personally see how lucifer square Neptune could implicate being criticized for the spiritual beliefs the native has.. Because, I've begun to realize more and more how the energy of Lucifer may want to "think for itself".. Lucifer may not only think for itself, it may also go to the point of ignoring societal moral standards, or taboos, in order to achieve its goal. In other words, being willing to go to lengths most people wouldn't consider..
