If you're interested, feel free to share your events, big or small, and the asteroid aspects fitting the theme in your opinion. It could be your natal or composite.

Thanks. Can you explain why you're so preoccupied with helio nodes?

questions for Seimei:

Do you use only the Helio Nodes and compare to both Helio Chart planets and Geocentric Chart planets...

Or do you use the Geocentric Nodes also and compare to both?

---

Helio Nodes are the same for everyone and the South Nodes are directly opposite the North Nodes, but for me, the helio nodes have shifted half a degree since I was born which would throw off the orbs for the faster moving planets

I only ever used the Helio Nodes and did not realize to calculate the geocentric nodes other than for the Moon. There is no Helio Node for the Moon. Other than the Moon (and I think Pluto), the Geo South Nodes are not directly opposite and have to be calculated separately.

I would be interested to know if you look at the Geocentric North Nodes and South Nodes individually and interpret their meanings differently. Thank you.

---

Also, I have been paying attention to Geo planets square to the Helio Nodes as mentioned specifically in the study of squares to Mars bringing early hystorectomy, violence, surgery.

Plus keeping an eye out for conjunction studies such as conjunction of a Geo planet to the Helio Saturn NN bringing severe depression. In one chart reading there was no obvious planetary reason for the depression that was experienced until I discovered the Nodal relationship.

Do you know of any published studies on the aspects of Helio Nodes conjunct or square Geo planets that you could share?

@ AA: pertaining to the OP I usually notice the effect of asteroid transits after the fact but paying more attention to seeing ahead, especially with my name asteroid.

@Seimei

This is so interesting--never heard of them. The heliocentric nodes positions for my birthday are as follows, though if I understand correctly they are relatively the same for everyone this century:

Venus HN: 16Gem28/16Sag28
Mars HN: 19Tau22/19Sco22
Mercury HN: 18Tau03/18Sco03
Jupiter HN: 10Can12/10Cap12
Saturn HN: 23Can28/23Cap28
Uranus HN: 13Gem56/13Sag56
Neptune HN: 11Leo35/11Aqu35
Pluto HN: 19Can56/19Cap56
MakeMake HN: 18Gem59/18Sag59
Haumea HN: 1Leo35/1Aqu35
Eris HN: 5Tau48/5Sco48

And so not to be a jerk , here are the nodes for some asteroids, since this is an asteroid thread:
Zeus HN: 12Cap35/12Can35
Apollo HN: 5Tau54/5Sco54
Fortuna HN: 1Sco38/1Tau38
Victoria HN: 25Sco39/25Tau39
Felicitas HN: 3Ari45/3Lib45
Fama HN: 29Cap01/29Can01

First of all, what orb do you use? I assumed 1°, but would slightly larger be fine?

Now the capital questions is how to you interpret the conjunctions, since none of my planets matched the planet node? For instance, in my chart I have the following conjunctions with orbs less than 1°:

* Venus HN conj. Mars
* Mercury HN conj South Node (1°05 orb; is this OK?)
* Saturn HN conj. Mercury
* Uranus HN conj. Neptune

... plus some for asteroids and a couple more to planets/angles if I allow for orbs up to 2°30.

Funny fact, my lunar nodes are aligned/conjunct to the heliocentric nodes of the asteroid with my name.

I would narrow down the type of events you are looking .e. love related, career, sex transits, money transits, deaths, special births etc. for because there are thousands of asteroids. It is easier to connect asteroids to events after the fact but the larger the asteroid the greater it's effect will be presented.

Thank you for explaining, Seimei. I happen to have some connections of this kind.

ail221, I'm interested in all types of events.

Do you just look at your Helio chart, where the planets are is your Helio nodes, NN is the conjunct SN is it's opposition...

My Helio Venus leo@0.52/ Venus SN aqua@0.52
Is that correct? My Trop Saturn leo@2.50
My Helio Mercury is conjunct Trop Merc/Sun
My Helio Mars is conjunct Trop Ceres
My Helio Jupiter is conjunct Trop Vertex/Chiron
Uranus/Neptune/Pluto are in nearly the same position in both charts.

Is this what you are talking about?

apologies, Seimei

How about you make a thread for helio astro and continue sharing info and answering questions there?
Btw, my surname is conjunct Chiron's SN, woohoo

Your using too much orb for this,, 2 degrees MAX.
You do have Helio MARS at H . NODE Uranus
and I see Geo Vesta20vi which is H node Juno
coffee,bbl

Then I don't have a clue what chart your using because this taken from my Helio chart/Tropical chart.
I've never been able to figure out which nodes you were talking about or what chart your using.

Have you noticed that Nessus will go back and forth, back and forth for the next 2 years? Mine is now about 3°30 degrees away from my IC, but will not cross my angle for about two other years. Weird asteroid.

Oh yes...major transits always have several hits. I just hope Nessus doesn't come as something too overwhelming. I've been through Neptune in ASC and still having Pluto on my Saturn so. I need a break! :-D
But if something interesting with asteroids happens to me I'll share here with everyone

Same here about sharing. There is literally nothing going on in my life right now, which is killing me (I don't take waiting well, but there is nothing else I can do to move things along). Very soon Orcus (that's an object bigger than an asteroid, but smaller than a dwarf), Latona, and Juno will cross my MC. I'm a bit nervous about Orcus because I have no idea what to expect. As about Nessus, I have my fingers crossed not to bring more abuse from family and loved ones. I already had my full of that.

@Soltze I hope you'll get your break soon. Think positively.
