Medusa fascinates me.

I discovered my natal Jupiter to be conjunct Algol last year and have gone back to her story countless times since then.

Perhaps I empathize with her.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me until tonight, but Algol / Medusa may be more significant to me than I originally thought.

You see, Jupiter is my chart ruler. And well-aspected. Therefore:

  • Algol trine Venus 0°16
  • Algol trine Mercury 2°01
  • Algol opposite Moon 0°29
  • Algol sesquiquadrate Neptune 0°01
  • Algol biQuintile Midheaven 1°00

Now, let's look at asteroid Medusa:

  • Medusa opposite Sun 0°52
  • Medusa quincunx Neptune 1°11
  • Medusa square Pluto 2°49

My Sun squares Pluto by 3°41, which would mean that there's a Sun-Pluto-Medusa t-square, right?

What does this all mean?!

P.S. When I started to grow my hair out last year, I was surprised to find out that I have ringlet curls. I joke that the more my hair grows, the more I look like Medusa. :P

I'd love to hear what you all think.

You may also want to take in to consideration Capulus.

I have my Sun tightly Conjunct Capulus.. And, I feel Capulus is often overlooked because of Algol. Of course, something conjunct Capulus may also be conjunct Algol, but.. Capulus manifests a bit differently, and I think it should be taken into consideration. Capulus, is actually technically the Nemesis of Algol..

And well.. I think sometimes people have something that is conjunct Capulus, but since it is close to Algol, they worry more about how the Algol influence will play out.

I think part of this though, is the fact that not a lot of people seem to know about Capulus.. I think this is partly because of the very fact that people don't hear about it because of Algol having such a "bad" reputation.

Not to say Capulus has the BEST reputation of all the stars either.

(will add on to this post in a bit..)
