Doctors and others in the healing and helping professions often have links between Hades and the Ascendant

A symbol of "mighty force," Vulcanus represents strength and energy in the extreme, and often carries with it a compulsive quality that is not so easy to resist. The erupting volcano is a fitting symbol for the power associated with Vulcanus, but this planet's strength can refer to matters of emotional intensity as well as to those of sheer physical power.

Linked by its glyph to the sign of Pisces, Poseidon relates to all that is inspirational and spiritual, in contrast to that which is more practical or worldly. It is the planet of ideas and ideals, and is frequently associated with psychics, mystics, and mediums. Light and enlightenment are both symbolized by Poseidon, as are wisdom, knowledge, and places of religious worship.

Hades is easily the most misconceived planet and it is a combination of other planetary energies, involving Saturn (responsibility, discernment), Neptune (addiction, spirituality), and Pluto (destruction, transformation). Hades also represents the collective consciousness, karmic debts, and paying back for whatever does not serve your Highest Good.

Unlike Zeus and Vulkanus, Hades is largely unconscious and has very little subconscious energy attached to it, though it still does exist in this domain. Authentic purpose is the theme here.

I am very intrigued.

I was mostly looking for Poseidon. For me life is going beyond profound and enlightening. Maybe this is related.

My Poseidon is tightly conjunct Sun at 25º Libra and also conjunct Retro Mercury and Pluto at 24º Libra and I also have Jupiter at 21º Libra with Isis asteroid also there.

I have Hades tightly conjunct my Ascendant at 1º Geminis and Vulkanus tightly conjunct Moon at 11º Cancer and Nessus at 29º Cancer near my North Node at 27º Cancer.

Any thought about the meaning of this?
