Intriguing. My LUMIERE is (2°) conjunct his EROS-KLIO conjunction in his 5H and my 8H. Indeed, I've illuminated much for him in this area. He has LUMIERE conjunct DESTINN natally. I suppose I should pay close attention to transits that activate it. Oh! Weird. That's where the tSUN was during the Masters of Sex premiere. Hmmmm. Yes, I'll definitely have to investigate that further. There are many points of 'illumination'. We'll have to see how LUMIERE differs and what it offers uniquely in its function. IP: Logged |

Hmm. It could relate to an older source of light, or a specialised form of light. So it might be light for a specific purpose, such as the lamp used in cinematography, to view old film negatives in slide projectors. Rather than the 'antique' light explanation, I rather like: a source of light for a specialised purpose; a light-source designed for, or geared towards, a specific intention of illumination. Maybe Auby, maybe... I have this notion, perhaps in keeping with my Leo Asc, that I shine, particularly when amongst people. Kinda like I glow internally. Very self-regarding, if not plain delusory. I wonder if Lumiere conj Asc is more common to Leo Asc. IP: Logged |

Another lumiere type of asteroid is AURORA (94).Aurora refers to the Goddess of dawn or the natural display of lights in the sky. Basically, light. I have Aurora conjunct Alma exact. And his Aurora is conjunct my Lust. So, would that mean that my lust for him is like a light in his life ? As it should be . IP: Logged |

Looking forward to seeing what happens, Ami Anne! I noticed it because my lover's Lumiere is on my Sun.. so I jumped to conclusions  Intuitively I feel like it's a fairly soft benefic influence. Maybe that has to do with the numerology of the word itself, seeming innocent somehow, and quaint... yet I can see it manifesting as stark as well... It's a very nuanced language, French, and context is everything, as with astrology... Because it's his Lumiere on my peregrine sun, my initial intuitive response was to feel it as being quite gentle somehow... But it could also intensify that Sun energy at 21 scorpio... Just as scorp can be the dove or the Phoenix or the scorpion... so can Lumiere be coloured by where we find it, as Light is Light is Light-- but there's dying light and waxing light, pink light and neon light... I wonder where it is now, because I feel like my light has been dimed. Oh it's actually conjunct my Mercury Taurus h12 right now. That makes sense because I do not have a tolerance for people silencing me right now. I've told quite a few people off lately. But also the 12th house is hidden. Extra oomph with NN conjunct Mercury too. I've been less in the closet too with my spiritual side. I have zero tolerance for toxic communication too. 12th house endings too. I've also been tapping more into the spirit world to find the light. Signs everywhere. Meditation, talking to dead relatives, songs on shuffle answering my questions.
