Hi Hypatia.....great asteroid find!! I love Chess! Vishyanand scorp@23.15, on my NN scorp@21.44Here's another one to add.... (19577) Bobbyfisher Born March 9, 1943 Chicago, Illinois, U.S. American chess prodigy, grandmaster, and the eleventh World Chess Champion. Many consider him the greatest chess player of all time. At age 13 Fischer won a "brilliancy" that became known as The Game of the Century. Starting at age 14, Fischer played in eight United States Championships, winning each by at least a one-point margin. At age 15, Fischer became both the youngest grandmaster up to that time and the youngest candidate for the World Championship. At age 20, Fischer won the 1963–64 U.S. Championship with 11/11, the only perfect score in the history of the tournament. Fischer's My 60 Memorable Games (1969) remains a revered work in chess literature. In 1970 and 1971, Fischer "dominated his contemporaries to an extent never seen before or since". He won the 1970 Interzonal Tournament by a record 3½-point margin and won 20 consecutive games, including two unprecedented 6–0 sweeps in the Candidates Matches. In July 1971, he became the first official World Chess Federation (FIDE) number-one-ranked player, spending 54 total months at number one. In 1972, he captured the World Chess Championship from Boris Spassky of the USSR in a match, held in Reykjavík, Iceland, publicized as a Cold War confrontation which attracted more worldwide interest than any chess championship before or since. In 1975, Fischer refused to defend his title when an agreement could not be reached with FIDE over one of the conditions for the match. Afterward, Fischer became a recluse, disappearing from the public eye until 1992, when he won an unofficial rematch against Spassky. It was held in Yugoslavia, which was under a United Nations embargo at the time. His participation led to a conflict with the U.S. government, which sought income tax on Fischer's match winnings, and ultimately issued a warrant for his arrest. In the 1990s, Fischer patented a modified chess timing system which added a time increment after each move, now a standard practice in top tournament and match play, and created a new variant of chess called Fischerandom. During the 1990s and early 2000s, Fischer lived in Hungary, Germany, the Philippines, Japan, and Iceland, and made increasingly anti-American and anti-semitic remarks on various radio stations. Possibly as a result, his U.S. passport was revoked. Fischer, unaware of his passport's revocation, traveled to Japan, where he was arrested by Japanese authorities and detained for over eight months (in 2004 and 2005) under threat of deportation. In March 2005, Iceland granted Fischer full citizenship, leading Japanese authorities to release him from prison. Fischer flew to Iceland, where he lived until his death on January 17, 2008. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Fischer In my chart Bobbyfisher is on my Neptune and exact on fixed star Antares.

Hello Aubyanne and Gabby! Gabby thanks for all that wonderful information. I wonder what asteroid bibliography is doing in your chart? you are like a encyclopedia and with Sun in Sag and Moon in Virgo you like to teach and share the information you know. I will check out and see what aspects it makes in my chart. Aubyanne I do like chess, I am normally more a scrabble girl but lately I am really into chess. My husband loves playing it and we are playing it together lately. IP: Logged |

I think chess and the thought of these master player asteroids could also relate to way out brains function. Chess is a very strategic and mental game. I knobs of wonder if these asteroids could also represent this type of thinking, where your needing to be steps ahead of your opponent in order to come out victorious...what do you think? Mercury conjunct an Asteroid named after a brilliant person like Anand or Bobby Fisher will help the person strategically think in a similar manner, and not necessarily in the same domain. Example: Mercury conjunct VISHYANAND and trine IMHOTEP will enable learning/design of strategic architecture. ------------------ Astrology Articles New Services and short readings IP: Logged |

Your interpretations are always so fluid and make so much sense.... My Bobbyfisher is in my Sun/Merc/Neptune stellium....wish it was tighter though!

Awe I feel both the trine and sextile to my lonely ole peregrine Sun ... heyy, maybe we make a grand kite between the three of us! depending on where hypatia's moon is, whether Cancer or Pisces... My NN is Pisces 11.. That's a bit wide... Who's got the Pisces opposition to Gabby's moon to form the Kite? That is, if hypatia's moon is in Cancer... Heehee... ♡☆☆ I've always been interested in the ways that groups of three or more can complement one another and complete geometry and such, the fabric of community and the ways in which we can all fulfill one another/diffuse tense situations/soothe and help and understand one another... This makes me think about that again
