Wouldn't the orb of asteroids to asteroids be given a wider orb for the conjunction and the other 4 harmonics since it is the birth chart? Please correct me if im wrong thank you in advance

Nope. 3º30 for asteroids to planets, and 2º for asteroids to asteroids. Though, I have noticed upon occasion, that it might be expanded to 3º, if part of a stellium, there are parallels / contraparallels, or they're heavily configured.

Astrologers disagree on orbs. The more I do charts, the stricter I get.

I will go 3 degrees on an orb but I feel it is really too wide and more ambient, at 3 degrees.

I like 1-2 with conjunctions and even less with other aspects.

okay that makes sense. can asteroids have a stellium? like 3 asteroids conjunct EXACT?

i have seen that in my natal chart and it being very influential in my life especially if its conjunct a personal planet under that orb rule you had mentioned about, even sometimes a little out of the orb that you mentioned due to because of the asteroid stellium being conjunct and i just checked now its also parallel. i can not deny it. it even shocks me a bit, Aubyanne.

Asteroid to asteroid is not as significant as asteroid to personal planet or angle such as ASC, Sun, Moon etc

Hey Ami Anne, i understand but the asteroid stellium i do have is parallel and they are all compacted and its 3-4 degrees away from my personal planet (Venus in the 3rd house) and believe me this has manifested me within my vocal musical talents i have gotten so much reputation and incredible positive feedback from my jazz music professors that jazz is a natural talent i have (even professors that specialize in rock & pop have brought this up to me) that not a lot of typical singers that come into the jazz world have this that i have. I can not see how this compacted/parallel stellium would not influence my venus in the 3rd house even though i respect your opinion and will continue to do more research on it.

Yes. My twin's 'karmic stellium' has three which are conjunct at 0º along with four others conjunct at 2º.

I keep it at five, honestly. It was getting up to nine, and that's just ridiculous. Sometimes it doesn't even matter if they're all conjunct. Take the meat of it and move on. If the rest is as important, it'll present itself in other ways through configurations and deeper ties throughout.

And, important synastries will come along and activate those points.

Oh, you're a jazz singer? Very cool! I'm coloratura soprano. Dramatic fach. I started as lyric, but have slowly increased squillo (in my middle register -- it was always crazy strong above E5) over time and developed power. Now my tessitura is around C4-F6, though my range has expanded to F3-C7. Quite happy about that.

I'm curious as to which you're referring specifically. Is it timbre or texture? Natural richness of timbre and smoothness of voice? Natural vibrato?

I sang with vibrato as a child, which any vocal teacher I had the 'fortune' of working with told me never to do. Now it's become a unique feature of my voice; I can trill more easily, sing fioritura deftly without too much practise, and have a pure yet rich soprano voice that carries quite far.

I just don't sound like most other singers do, whether classically trained opera singers or performing in the pop industry. It's also given me more natural versatility, so that I can comfortably sing in any genre. I added soul and R&B with a cover of 'Yesterday' last year, mentored by a very talented local soul singer.

I've never thought of looking into asteroids for this. I know I've got EUTERPE, POLYHYMNIA and MELPOMENE strong in my chart. And I often wonder if DESTINN does sometimes refer to Emmy, the soprano.

Oh wow sounds great aubyanne! yes your range is wide and since you do have natural vibrato you must certainly can sing in any genre like R&B, Soul, Theatrical, Funk music etc. for sure if you wanted to i envy that! you should look more into it i'd love to know what can enhance a singers ability in a genre or influence and type of color to there voice as well. Oh "yesterday" is a good one to sing in the R&B style you can even sing it in jazz if you wanted to the lyrics are perfect for that genre.

natural richness of texture, smoothness, and vibrato my personality and the style comes so easy for me. i grew up listening to jazz and latin music all my life, i have one jazz musician in my family that used to play in new orleans in the 30s. i basically grew up with mellow, loungy, lazy, legato music all my life which i usually listen to and i just feel my personality and my true happiness and compatible texture of my voice matches with jazz/latin. I feel more comfortable singing alto i can sing high but it just doesn't feel comfortable and i much prefer my lower range. the one thing in jazz i have a hard time with is "improvising" i' m learning that with my couch and professors and it is truly a talent to have that, i envy sarah vaughan she's so talented and she's got it don't know if your familiar with her but she's one of the jazz singer's i look up to when it comes to improvising.
