I read something once that said when combined with Pholus and Chiron, Nessus could possibly be about generational healing and not just abuse.

Does anyone have thoughts about that? I'm looking at a set of charts, and the asteroids are always related-all three, and it's a generational thing where I am very confident there is no abuse happening.

The parent in the situation came from a very long line of pentecostal preachers who were very religious and oppressive, and had tendencies to sort of corrupt beautiful gifts to be part of their religion. Is it possible that the Nessus and Pholus and Chiron running through these charts is about the ending of what surely felt like psychological abuse? There is a strong push to keep the children away from that religion, and I feel like maybe this is part of it, but I don't know enough about the "generational healing" I saw mentioned.

Noticed this thread and just been mulling over the idea. I have not come up with anything but something that I do KNOW flashed in front of my eyes.
The Heliocentric nodes of Pholus and Chiron
are square and the midpoint of those nodes is 14 ge/14 sa which are the nodes of Uranus and the position of the great attractor.
If the inverse of used is NEED!!!!
And we all need healing,
Right now the hypothetical transneptunian Cupido and Pholus are conjunct at 25 sa.
If cupido is the greater family and Pholus blows up everything it touches, then maybe look at groups in the past which have a Nessus position that aspects those degrees.
Nessus at 0 pisces now or 2pi helio.
Such slow movers you really have to look at a group/class/victim type or society as a whole which is where Cupido plays perhaps.
maybe also look at Violetta and its hnn23cp in your charts.
