iQ, you have mentioned sacred degrees in relation to placements of asteroids:"It would be great if we have the chart of someone with Sun or Asc conjunct LOGOS in a sacred degree like 29 Aqua, 26 Capricorn, 19 Leo, 28 Virgo, 1 Libra etc." Some queries 1) Do placements at sacred degrees (of which there may be more) enhance the spiritual or positive potential of planets and asteroids? 2) How do we determine which degrees are sacred? Is this a combination of Sabian Symbol meanings as well as key points such as SGC, GC and GA? 3) Conversely, are there degrees which are negative or inauspicious? If so, which ones are they? Found an interesting article on the 22nd degree, held important in numerology. But, then so are many more. What about the 11th degree?"22 is a Master Number, having massive potential for transformation, but showing also the need to release old karma." http://www.astrologycom.com/protective.html Incidentally, I have a kundalini asteroid at 22 degrees in most signs - which, hopefully, should be pointing to transformation potential.

Sorry for ignorantly butting in, but this is a really interesting concept. I'd love to know more. Is any amount of orb allowed or is the point that it must be 22 exact? My Sun, Neptune, Pluto and Juno are all either 23 or 21 degrees. Aside from Kaali, what are kundalini asteroids? I have Logos conjunct my midheaven, but I don't know what that means?IP: Logged |

They say the degree 'starts right away'. I always remember it this way using Ellias Lonsdale's 'Inside Degrees'. He uses the 17th degree of Taurus, which is 16° TAU 01 - 17° TAU 00. Counterintuitive, but that's how it was determined. Easy for me, as my CHIRON (17° TAU 06) is technically the 18th degree, by that breakdown. My boyfriend's TISIPHONE (17° TAU 48) is also technically the 18th degree -- as it runs from 17° TAU 01 - 18° TAU 00. It's only about 12 minutes from the 19th, but it's still 18th degree. That's basically how it works. So anything '22nd degree' would technically be between 21°01 and 22°00. It really wouldn't be anything that's 22° as that'll be the 23rd degree, since the 22nd degree ENDS at 22°00. IP: Logged |

Hi AK,<<1) Do placements at sacred degrees (of which there may be more) enhance the spiritual or positive potential of planets and asteroids?>> Absolutely they do. Mildly for the astrologically unaware, strongly for those who take up astrology. << 2) How do we determine which degrees are sacred? Is this a combination of Sabian Symbol meanings as well as key points such as SGC, GC and GA? >> Yes, an in depth study of the Sabians as well as Fixed Stars is necessary. And even then we should not be making rules set in stone. << 3) Conversely, are there degrees which are negative or inauspicious? If so, which ones are they? >> 19 Scorpio has been quite difficult. 19 Taurus has the Node of Mars, and acts like an Afflicting Mars. Fixed Star ALGOL in 26-27 Taurus is definitely challenging. Fixed Star Vindemiatrix is also challenging, I think it is 8 Libra. 29 Capricorn points out to the Illuminati but this is Bipolar as we have both Children of Law of One (positive) as well as the Sons of Belial (negative) in the Illuminati. 29 Gemini could be negative for some men, creating excessive sexual desires. 15 Leo is said to be negative, have not found enough evidence regarding this but I keep an open mind.

@ IQ, thanks for this very interesting info.@ Auby, thanks for clarifying. @ starxd, Kundalini asteroids are generally names of Vedic/Indian Gods and some asteroids related to these. More specifically: Asteroids for Siva -- Siva, Rudra, Mahakala, Shankar, Hara, Mahalingam Asteroids for Parvati -- Parvati, Kaali, Tara See this link: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum28/HTML/003010.html iQ, would you agree?
