Ganymed is the German spelling of Ganymede. Zeus granted Ganymede eternal youth, cup bearer to the Gods and Associated in Greek mythology with Aquarius, symbol of the world river and the source of the Nile that fertilised the lands of Egypt.

Ganymede in the natal chart represent where we retain our youthful outlook on life, it also represent the faith and wisdom of youth in believing in change and altruism. Ganymede revigorates the planets it forms aspects to and keep that energy youthful and alive throughout life.

I'll be 27 in 3 months, but look a lot younger than that; my voice is that of a teenaged boy; I've always been curious and in awe of the world; I sometimes project the innocence and naiveté of a child; and I get excitable like a child.

I've never attributed my childlike qualities to Ganymed, but it's definitely something to consider.

Hebe is the Goddess of youth as such she also represents compassion, pardons and parole. We all do foolish things in youth, sometimes those foolish acts lead us into unpleasant situations Hebe understands that. Hebe also represents the developing sexuality, she represents the sexual innocence of experimentation and curiosity, that leaves youths vulnerable to older more experienced adults.

Hebe in the chart relates to our experiences as a teenager, the lessons learnt and our ability to relate to youths from a place of compassion and understanding. Hebe also represents our judgement in protecting the innocent without restricting their developing independence. In parent child relationships aspects to Hebe make relating to the child easier and helps the communication flow.
