I am a bit disturbed that there is an asteroid named Potato. I guess I feel their reason for the naming is 'LAME'

88705 Potato Discovered 2001 Sept. 17 by W. K. Y. Yeung at the Desert Eagle Observatory.
The United Nations has declared 2008 the International Year of the Potato. First domesticated in the Andes, the potato was carried to Europe in the sixteenth century. Its value lies in its high yield and its almost perfect balance of nutrition. Many minor planets are believed to be shaped like potatoes.

almost perfect balance of Nutrition < oh well what can we expect from the UN

They're not exactly balanced if we judge it by the fat-protein-carbohydrate ratio but they're a good and easy to produce source of energy, that's something. I was amused the first time I saw it. I definitely don't mind its existence, I like potatoes a lot. Thanks for reminding me about my idea to gather eatable and eating related asteroids.
