Why is it that only Eros and Psyche conjunction gets taken serious in synastry? Why not the trine or the opposition? Couldn't those be felt too?IP: Logged |

Felt differently but yes. The conj is the most powerful of the aspects due to the closeness of the situation.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

That's understood. It just seems like with other aspects, trines, oppositions, and even sextiles, at times, are taken serious. But it seems with Eros and psyche, it's conjunction or bust. I just believe the trine and the opposition can be felt as well. Shouldn't be written off whatsoever. But Ami Anne, I'm curious to know more about "felt differently?"IP: Logged |

Oppositions are struggles back and forth like a see saw. It is up or it is down but it is never in the middle, balanced and nice( basically lol) Squares are being "stuck", so what would have been amazing in the conjunction becomes a STRUGGLE with the opposition and square. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? And to add onto what you said, the trine, is it felt differently in the sense that it may not be noticeable as trines are supposed to be smooth and easy? IP: Logged |

Gotcha. And that's where I was surprised the trine wasn't taken serious between Eros and Psyche, as trines are natural and smooth. And that's good for harmony and such.

No, the trine is a nice flow but trines can still be sexy like Moon trine Pluto or Venus trine Pluto is super sexy. It just is not "angry kind of passion" like the squares.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Trines to Eros and Psyche are powerful as well. Conjunctions and Oppositions feel in the "face". Here, is a beautiful interpretration of interpersonal Eros and Psyche: http://witcheri.blogspot.in/2012/09/love-astrology-love-compatible-by-eros.html I find them to be quite accurate. ------------------ Free Information on Love Astrology IP: Logged |

Ami, you're right - the trines and sextiles have a smooth flow to them. The dancing metaphor fits so nicely I've never had the conjunction with anyone, but I've had a very tight square - that person really gets under your skin. Kinda like a love/hate thing. But a conscious one. They both know they're play-acting the 'hate'. But that just makes it hotter. They get so wrapped up in their conflicts that they forget the presence of other people. This is the couple that takes up all the oxygen in the room. That chemistry just can't be kept under wraps. Getting a rise out of each other is a turn-on. Fighting is foreplay. IP: Logged |

I remember coming across this awhile ago. Most detailed I've seen on this topic. I just wish there was a description on trines and such. Cause I have felt trines in these, and it should not go unnoticed like a lot of astrologers seem to do with that aspect. IP: Logged |
