Like, for example I know a man who has Mars conjunct Eros. Other one has Sun conjunct Eros (also conjunct Jupiter ). Or me, I have Eros conjunct Venus/MC, square ascendant.I ask this because I read in somewhere that a person with some of those aspects can be really promiscuous. But, hmm... I don't know. I can't imagine everyone like that . I know I can search everything but I want to know what others think. IP: Logged |

Hahaha , ok . Thanks for answer . How does feels like? Having Saturn-Eros? It doesn't "sound" so nice, or I am wrong? I don't know too much about this. I know that Venus conjunct Eros it can be considered a great cool blessed aspect (lol) or conjunct to MC can have something to do with working with underwear? Nah , I'm just guessing. Eros conjunct Jupiter can expand the erotism and all that. Mars conjunct Eros can be really sexual and strong? Those are my guessing, haha. IP: Logged |

I think you may be confusing LUST and EROS. EROS is a manifestation of love on the physical plane, sensuality, and concrete expressions of feeling. LUST is raw carnality, which is closer to the idea of promiscuity. There is a reason EROS and PSYCHE are paired in a romantic sense. They are two sides of the same coin. A strong EROS in the natal indicates a person who communicates more with action than words about how they feel for someone. IP: Logged |

My Eros is in my 5H Sag stellium with moon, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune, all of which are sextile to my 3H Libra sun and stellium. As would be expected, I can be very adventurous, playful, and curious. That said, I wouldn't define myself as promiscuous. There was a time I was, but it was more curiosity than anything. Once I felt I'd reached a pinnacle of understanding about myself and sexuality (granted, some parts still elude me, but I felt I learned all I could that way) then my interests waned. Even in those days I was careful (perhaps my Cappie Lilith at work). Though one time after that, there was this couple at a gym I used to go to who propositioned me. I was intrigued, both because I found them fun with a good sense of humor (so people I could relax around), and because I was curious what having a threesome with a man and woman who were both so fit, flexible and agile with good endurance could be like. I was betting I'd enjoy the experience, but as I was in a monogamous relationship, I had to regretfully turn them down (meanwhile, the one I was in a monogamous relationship with who made such a big deal about monogamy was cheating on me left and right, though I wouldn't find out for a long while). Sag can be ethical as well (especially mixed with Libra). This is the one sexual encounter I missed that I regret. If I had a lot more interest in sex for its own sake than I do then I'd no doubt be more promiscuous, very likely with the polyamory crowd (I wonder how different my life would be had I gone down that path instead, which I almost did). But why aren't I more interested? Maybe it was the problems I had during puberty, or some heavy pills forced on me that affected my developing brain as a child, or maybe it was just my choice of media that wasn't so obsessed with sex/relationships so that my brain got into the habit of thinking of more than that (and therefore easily distracted from it, not obsessed, etc). Though I can't help but wonder if so many others are uptight about sex because it's such a more powerful force for them than it is for me. Maybe if I had a much more powerful sex drive then I'd be more scared of it and have a different attitude...though according to astrology, I wouldn't. IP: Logged |

I suspect it would mean she has always had control over her appetite. Saturn is not a bad energy. It is something we need or we never learn.------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing this. I can imagine some things that you wrote. I have Eros in Aquarius, 9th house! Sagittarius's house. I'm a little bit speechless (I apologize for that) but I really appreciate what you wrote . IP: Logged |

I have Eros parallel my ASC, and square Mercury. It trines Venus/Mars/Lust conjunction. I am not a promiscuous person, but for most of my life, I've been in a relationship, pretty much always long-term. I tend to come across very strong, intense, and somewhat sexual even though I don't really intend to. It is kind of annoying, to be honest. I channel most of this energy towards creative projects My best friend in high school had a Sun/Eros/Jupiter conjunction at 29 degrees Capricorn, 8th house. Also conjunct Neptune/Uranus, loosely. Very relationship-oriented person, despite having many casual relationships he was not single for long. edit: I might add that authority figures, bosses, and older women seemed to find him attractive, or in the very least, they liked and favored him. I have Sun opposite Eros, Venus biquintile Eros and Eros square MC. Nope never promiscuous. But I think Eros would play off what is already in the chart. You can have the most powerful Eros but have a chart configuration that says otherwise.IP: Logged |

LOL, I've read that too, about the underwear. Just kidding My Eros aspects a bunch of religious and spiritual asteroids along with Saturn, and I think it reflects my strict Catholic upbringing. Eros is conjunct Angel, my mother died when I was 14, and come to think of it, I did have some paranoia at first that she was policing my activities from above. Actually the only time I tried to live with a guy, before I was married, he had a vivid nightmare of my mother trying to kick him out of the room. quote: I suspect it would mean she has always had control over her appetite. That's true. Well Saturn is also trine my Venus and I was only interested in long-term relationships. quote: I am not a promiscuous person, but for most of my life, I've been in a relationship, pretty much always long-term.
Same. If the question was just about, erotic activity...that's a whole other story. (That I wouldn't have gotten into. ) IP: Logged |

@Faith: Hahaha, well, it could be like that. I mean: work + eros ? I'm sorry for your lost. Even if it was many years ago. I think a mother is very important, but I don't know what kind of relationship you had with her. I think It's really interesting what happened to you, about that "paranoia" and that guy's dream . thanks . So now you know that I really like astrology. Union. It surprises me. I had seen that I have Union in Scorpio and all that but I had not paid attention to it so I had forgotten. Now I remembered, thank you . IP: Logged |

I have Eros conj venus. However, it seems like that which conjuncts Venus is subtle and that which conjuncts the ASC or Mars is easy to see and more outward. I have my theory about yin and yang planets. The yang ones are "out there" with the aspects. The yin ones have a subtle vibe. Eros conjunct Saturn seems like erotic restriction. I have Eros exact square Sun and Moon/Neptune. I'm not promiscuous.

Interesting . We have the same Does that makes us an erotic person? I like to think so . I ask because I think I once read that you had a conjunction between Eros and some planet or ascendant. I think you have some asteroid that has to do with youth conjunct to your ascendant. I remember (or maybe I don't remember too much, haha) these things because I've seen your web page. I think my Vesta conj your Sun (or maybe not). This has nothing to do with Eros but I have Vesta in Gemini 27°55'59".
