Does anyone have a good understanding of how Vesta works in our psyche ?Mine is in Cancer in the 12th house.  ------------------

Way way way way way back in the day,
Very few cavemen, maybe cave women knew how to make FIRE.
As a consequence someone always had to KEEP the fire going.
The symbol for Vesta looks a bit like a few
'v' s, right or FLAMES. But really a vessel holding the fire, OR HOLDING something,
it is not the something that Vesta represents but the HOLDING.Like when we say,We HOLD these truths to be self-evident,,
HOLD becomes a very import word, right.
Vesta is not about the fire, but what is important. KEEPING the fire going was very important.
Like the words , invested or vested.
So Vesta in your chart >
What are your vested interest, what will you DEVOTE <(see there is the V again) yourself to in life.
Vesta mixes with everything, because planets do not operate in a vacuum of course.
Sign,house placement and aspects of course are important when looking at it of course.
So I suppose in a word you could just say devotion but What each person Holds/carries in their Vessel varies, also HOW STRONGLY
they hold onto it as well.DEVOTION ------------------

Vesta is in my 10th house. I'm not sure where I thought it was located in my chart, but I didn't expect to see it in 10th house.And quick question. Is a 4-degree orb too wide for a conjunction with the Midheaven? IP: Logged |
