My Nostalgia @ 10.19 Libra My Pluto 11.42 LibraIn the 3rd house. So no wonder I'm often looking back at the good ole days, reminiscing..... Now, my ex-soulmate (you remember him, I've talked about him 10,000 times)... His Pluto @ 10.45 Libra His Mars @ 12.44 Libra His Venus @ 13.25 Libra Wide orbs but I'm straining to make a point here. His NOSTALGIA @ 23 Libra opposes my Chiron so I'm sure he looks back and thinks he should not have hurt me like that. Right? that must be what it means. Composite NOSTALGIA at 16 Libra square my sun. As if it was meant to be all poignant and sad like this. Tell me about your Nostalgia?

Heliocentric North Node (HNN) for Nostalgia 9.13 Leo.As I understand it, the helio NN is possibly where an energy is strongest, or most fitting. IP: Logged |

Mine is in the 2nd and 3rd house (you know, the 5 degree rule on the next cusp). It makes sense, since I am attached to my things, lol since I have 2 planets in my 2nd house. Then I fondly remember the good old days of childhood and puberty.. Less drama and problems.. IP: Logged |

Conjunct his Pluto-Mars-Venus? Wow. That and the composite connection makes it a full-blown nostalgia-strewn affair. You may be right - perhaps it was meant to be a memory? I don't know if that's entirely a bad thing, though. Memories (and dreams) are easier to live with than real people. My *nostalgia* is biQuintile Moon (not sure what that means), opposite Neptune and trine Pluto. It's also 5° away from my south node. :/ Not an orb for a conjunction I suppose ~ but still in the same ball park, so I thought worth mentioning. I often feel nostalgic about places I've never been to and things I've never been. I've always assumed that's some half-buried past life recollection that I cannot fully access (sounds crazy?)... But I dunno what causes it. BTW ~ Is that HNN conjunct your Asc? IP: Logged |

*giggles* I know right? Too fitting. quote: Memories (and dreams) are easier to live with than real people.
Yup, especially when the people are not romantically attracted anymore and went off to live with someone else. Trying not to laugh. It's not really funny, but it is, because I survived it. quote: I've always assumed that's some half-buried past life recollection that I cannot fully access (sounds crazy?)... I can relate, but it sounds like you have the feeling more intensely or frequently than I do? Your placements suggest that, if Nostalgia means anything. I like time warps and would haunt museums more if I had the time and liberty...just being around antiques puts me at ease. I love the older world. Yes, Nostalgia's HNN on my rectified ASC. You're goooood. Meanwhile you are so cryptic about your chart, I haven't managed to piece it all together yet, and I admire you for that. (Though I will gladly see you trade in your air of mystery for full chart disclosure whenever you're ready... ) IP: Logged |

I know it must still hurt, somewhere deep down. But, being the stoic Cappy you are - you keep up a brave front. I really admire that. How you kept your chin up and went on to create a great life for yourself, is your real strength. And you'll be rewarded for it someday, I dare say... quote: Originally posted by Faith:

I dunno about `more', but you're right, I do feel it intensely and often. And it seems ridiculous to my rational side, so I avoid talking about it (in case I sounds nuts, lol). Maybe in time, with meditation and the like ~ I may be closer to answers. quote: Originally posted by Faith: Yes, Nostalgia's HNN on my rectified ASC. You're goooood. Hehee! You see, that makes it play a prominent role in your identity..! (Is it creepy and stalkerish that I guessed a birth year & time based on what I've read of your placements? Kidding, don't answer that. --although, I still don't have the place, so I may be wrong about degrees & time--). Lol, being cryptic...that's a common complaint my friends have about me. Not on purpose, really. But, you know what - Fun fact: I had, in some comment somewhere, asked if you would do a synastry reading for me & that Libra guy someday (just as a hypothetical). But then I got too embarrassed and erased the question. :/ Yeah, maybe someday I will put it up. But you'll probably know all my placements by then anyway. ETA: Oh wow, I just read the year on another thread ~ was right. Lol if only I would've waited. IP: Logged |

aww Faith anyway my own nostalgia (I kinda wish he would stop singing the same lines from his solo from "Pope Joan" in the back of my mind, esp. since I have no clue where THAT comes from all at once! did not even listen to the song for weeks). my own NOstalgia is on 7 Cancer in my 7th house (retro - how fitting!) opp. my Venus-Isis-Osiris, but not REALLY aspecting anything in HIS chart. OH unless we count the trine to his Eros-Ceri-conjunction at 8-9 Pisces of course. his NOstalgia on 18 Aries, conjunct my Chiron. lol He gets nostalgic, when I get hurt? lol (actually to me chiron represents most of all point of vulnerability that you have no choice over. Like you cannot be NOT vulnerable when it is touched, no doors to bar, no thick skin to wear, no armour). composite has Nostalgia on 27 Taurus in 4th house (currently our pr Juno-Eros are being there) and i like the Sabian
"A Woman, Past Her "Change Of Life", Experiences A New Love" pr composite: Juno 27°20 Taurus Nostalgia 27°25 Taurus Eros 27°33 Taurus
Comments? EDIT oh btw his NOstalgia also aspects my Eros by square (2 degrees) and my Nostalgia aspects his Chiron by sextile (2 degrees)
so we basically have Nostalgia aspecting each other`s natal Eros-Chiron-aspect (for him a sextile, for me a square). IP: Logged |

@CeriVenus-Nostalgia opposition is interesting. As if Cap Venus needs any more reason to prolong affections? quote: pr composite:Juno 27°20 Taurus Nostalgia 27°25 Taurus Eros 27°33 Taurus Comments?
What IS that??? quote: so we basically have Nostalgia aspecting each other`s natal Eros-Chiron-aspect (for him a sextile, for me a square).
Translated: "Remember when we didn't make out...that still hurts so bad!" heheheheh True, though. @Elysia quote: And it seems ridiculous to my rational side, so I avoid talking about it (in case I sounds nuts, lol).
Yes, I know what you mean....difficult to talk about the weird things that happen in our brains. Wow, just yesterday I was thinking of how to explain that Elvis is my favorite singer and I got stage fright because it's actually a paranormal story that I take seriously, but it sets me up for ridicule and even makes me doubt myself....I'd rather just know what I know, if you know what I mean. quote: Maybe in time, with meditation and the like ~ I may be closer to answers.
Yes. I have the same hope about so many unsolved riddles in my life too....just gotta start meditating! Re: Guessing placements It's like learning to read...once you have a general sense of how the planets move, someone can give away their whole chart (or the key to it) by mentioning one or two aspects. Not creepy at all!! <3 quote: Yeah, maybe someday I will put it up. But you'll probably know all my placements by then anyway.
I hope so! I'd love to see it. quote: Okay, can't help asking.. Was that why you guys broke up? Someone else came into the picture..?
Hear that creaking sound? That's the lid of Pandora's box opening up. Don't get me started!!! LOL Gosh, how do I summarize this story? When I don't want to summarize, I want to write a book about it? In the end, he moved into the apartment I shared with two girls...he and I were just friends, but I did make him promise not to date my roommates as that would make it awkward. He promised. At that time I had tr Pluto on my Venus and I think I deliberately set him up to fail because on some level, I knew it was over and I had to move on. Bottom line is, he did end up falling for my roommate, which still wouldn't have been the end of our friendship...except she was lying about things and deliberately sabotaging my friendship with him. I felt that I couldn't defend myself and explain to him what she was doing without him denying it and taking her side, so I just let everything go completely. To this day I think he doesn't understand why I just walked off and didn't explain. Of course it's more complicated than that, but that's a main artery that got blocked. Her sun conjunct my Chiron exact, by the way. IP: Logged |

^^ Wait, "in the end, he moved into the apartment I shared with two girls". You mean, towards the end of your relationship?? And wow, some girls have no problem throwing their friends under the bus for some guy. It's just pathetic. IP: Logged |

Aww, Faith. Thanks so much for sharing! It sounds like you guys really were inseparable. Damned Universe had to glitch it up so badly. What he said seems true to me, though. Some bonds just are like that ~ transcending time & space. All these years in between, don't matter. *sigh* Anyway... I'm so glad Karma paid her back. Very reassuring. Argh why do you delete, mirage? I tried writing earlier but everyone was talking to me here in the house, I couldn't concentrate, so I clicked out instead of hitting "submit." Now I'm trying to remember all that you said. You have such a unique style and approach, sometimes it's hard for me to re-enact even the basic gist of it in my mind. But I know, I wanted to reassure you that I'm not living in the past or hoping for things that are not going to happen. Sometimes it's still nice for me to go back in time and sit with memories, though. What else are they for? Yet I do prefer the present time, I'm calmer and more centered now. Anyway ~ thanks for the hug. @Elysia Thanks again for listening I guess that bond was broken after all but I admit that sometimes it crosses my mind, how funny would it be to finally make peace when we're in our 70's. I guess I've seen too many movies. IP: Logged |

Nostalgia is exact conjunct my cancer moon. Yikes, it's a 12 house moon. I could live my whole life for sentimental memories, but it's so painful to remember because nothing will ever be the same. I'm going to do a home movie marathon and have a good cry. We were all so so happy back then. IP: Logged |

awww Faith! I hate it when I do that "too soon" ... After I saw you delete your story and go 'missing', I thought you were done! (Thank you for explaining. I should have left it up one more day. Usually, I won't delete if leave quick heart smile or mention, or message.)You know how I over-share sometimes? I just scaled it back a bit.... errrr, Well, maybe a whole lot?, but I had gotten into one of those inspirational writing modes. I'm REALLY glad you saw and read it. All good. Feels worthwhile to have spent the time to write it. Thank you for your compliment, and for the reassurances. Nostalgia was important in my family... I have a lot of warm memories as I recall listening to fascinating stories about great-grands, extendeds, my dad's adventures on global humanitarian missions (military). I have 3162 Nostalgia rx Capricorn 19.45 conjunct 2095 Parsifal rx, and the Part of Destiny. H2. IP: Logged |
