I have a 9th house Chiron in Leo. I also have Venus squaring Chiron, but I don't know if I experience more pain in love than the average person.

Mark Andrew Holmes also defined it as the rumormongering asteroid, and that's how it played out for me. I'm a victim of slanderous gossip about my love life, I have it sextile Venus. My bro has it conjunct his Sun. He is very nosy, he likes to go through my stuff, letters and phone, but I'm not sure if he's a rumormonger. He does lie stupidly though, like you know he did it, it's obvious, but he never admits.

Not accurate is pretty excusable.. We all make mistakes. These are more like calling an apple a bridge. And not even bothering to come in and correct it afterwards.
