Hello Knowflakes, I found a terrific piece on David Bowie who just so happened to have a prominent Pallas. Enjoy!

quote:
Aquarius itself is ruled by Uranus (modern ruler; the traditional ruler is Saturn). Uranus instigates radical behavior that revolutionizes the way we view our world. The instinct for innovation and eccentricity was particularly strong in him as was the desire to continually reinvent himself...

Not to discredit that article, and sorry for going off topic...but in case anyone's interested, I also feel like it's a Capricorn man thing.

Especially second (Venus) decan.

Just to show you...these are all 2nd decan Cap men:

Eddie Redmayne

Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) - pretending to be Elvis

^ See? He's even wearing pink....

like Elvis:

In fact David Bowie did cite Elvis as an early influence (but who doesn't?)

And here's Michael Stipe of R.E.M.:

Dave Matthews, though he usually does look masculine:

Syd Barrett in makeup:

You get the idea.

I assume everyone knows Bowie was second decan Cap...that's why I said all that.

None of those men look androgynous... Wearing pink or makeup doesn't make it so... Bowie does he has extremely feminine features.

Always contrary.

Unquote me then?

If you think I made an error, no need to repeat it.

He didn't.

^ Obviously a man.

^ No one is mistaking him for a girl.

Structurally I really don't think Bowie looks feminine.

Nor androgynous. Just masculine.

Anyway, this conversation makes me realize I don't know what people mean by androgyny. I thought of it as a matter of choice. And the willingness for a man to appear as feminine, by choice, is what I demonstrated with those Cap musician photos.

Interesting dichotomy ,, but it seems to me if one person views a person as looking masculine and another views THAT person as looking feminine
IZ that not androgynous , to look like both or neither , indeterminate

I guess I believe it's a matter of choice.

If a person can easily flip back and forth, that's androgyny?

^ Male

^ Female (notice the need for makeup to pull that off)

^ ????

To me that is androgyny, no idea what is going on there.

But Bowie never pulled that off. He always looked too masculine for that, and maybe it wasn't even his desire to change it.

My girlfriend has Pallas on the ascendant, she doesn't relate to being a woman in the societal way, pallas definitely lights the way for gender non conformity

I have a non-binary friend with Pallas conj. Sun they’ve got lady parts and have been able to grow facial hair since childhood. Other than the beard and mustache, they don’t appear androgynous at all and it’s usually shaven with them wearing feminine clothes. I mean it’s Pallas-sun not Pallas-asc though. They identify as non-binary.

Interesting, I have a cousin who is a Capricorn in second decan and looks femenine too. But wait, can this apply for anyone with its Sun in Venusine decan? (like Gemini in second decan?)
