I have a tiiiiny suggestion for this forum, if people don't mind. What do you think if we make an unofficial rule to include asteroid numbers every time we start a topic about asteroids. I know, some of you already do, and I really appreciate it, especially love those, who post them in a line for an easy copy/paste Thanks in advance! IP: Logged |

I like this idea. I love when people put the asteroid number in the title. Then I don't have to imagine frustrated readers desperately rummaging through the thread, hoping to find the number. IP: Logged |

I love this suggestion. It is a personal pet peeve of mine when people talk about asteroids without including the number. The reason it bothers me is I hate going through that long list on astro. There are a ton of asteroids and I'm impatient. Of course, I try not to complain, but I think it would be considerate to include the number with the asteroid. In fact, I've started keeping a reference list of personal asteroids and even in my own space I include the number with the asteroid. IP: Logged |

I often fail to include the number because I forget and am just excited about talking about whatever asteroid I'm thinking about at the time. I also often fail to tell the audience whether the songs I'm playing are my own or other peoples... a serious omission but totally innocent, if self centered and blind to reality.... :-)IP: Logged |
