Nanna(1203) is also another name for the Sumerian moon god Sin, husband of Ningal; father of Inanna, goddess of love and war, and of Utu the sun god; son of Enki, Lord of Water, and Ninlil; and stepson of Enlil, Lord of Air, who raped Ninlil. Sin aka Nanna determines the fate of the dead in Sumerian mythology.

Astrologically, asteroid Nanna seems to indicate grandmotherly, lunar-natured (emotional, fertile, reflective, nurturing) in a male sense; possibly, carrying on legacies..
