Never heard of Amalthea. See if you can find the meaning of the word and go from there.

Amalthaea was the numph that Rhea asked to care for Zeus/Jupiter, while she kept her son hidden in a cave from his father Chronos/Saturn who was consuming/ eating all his children.

Amalthaea even gave the baby her own milk and nurtured him so he could grow up strong.

Judging from this I`d say that Amalthaea might be a symbol of CARING, NURTURING for children (or projects, ideas, etc.) even if you have not born themselves.

Seems like a very positive and giving symbol.
So on the DESC this bodes well I think.

Might even be interesting to look up in patchwork families, when you are being a foster parent.

"n your natal chart, Amalthea is a place of prosperity and limitless abundance. One can surmise that the intention of this natural energy flow is akin to what is recognised as the most positive of Neptune and Pisces in the natal chart. Unlike the ‘luck’ asteroids, such as Tyche and Foruna, where the outcome can be debatable as lucky – there are no negatives attached to Amalthea. It is a place of blessing, appreciation, generosity and pure love."

"Possible Keywords: adoption, love, nurturing, abundance, tending the care of others, protecting the weak, protecting for the higher good, feeling the love of your chosen spiritual expression, dedicated to love and nurturing, pure love without emotional walls, appreciated for nurturing, immense internal wealth, spiritual wealth."

My Amaltheia is on 26 Capricorn, EXACT on P`s Venus. lol

BTW funny enough HIS Amalthea is exact conjunct MY Child.

2 minutes orb.

(my Amalthea is quinkunx his Child but more loosely with over one degree orb)

The composite has AMALTHEA conjunct CERES on 22-23 Pisces (0°27) plus conjunct ISIS (1°07) on 24 Pisces.

All of it being conjunct pr compospite ASC and curiously my pr name in his chart

(his natal Amaltheia is also losely conjunct my name in my chart at about 2 degrees)

Anyway with Amalthea in Capricorn in my chart (conjunct LINK exact and I think INTERKOSMOS) and conjunct Anubis,t oo, and falling onto my Draconic Pluto-MC.

I think it could mean that my caring for people, children whatever goes beyond "blood-ties", it`s more like an universal caring, which makes sense I guess with Ceres in Pisces, too.

I like the Sabian of my Amalthea though

"Pilgrims Climbing The Steep Steps Leading To A Mountain Shrine"

it`s not an easy one, but it shows a gradual development.

BTW my Draco Amalthea is EXACT conjunct my tropical name in my chart.

my pr Amalthea is applying to conjunct my n Moon and LUCINA (146) (the goddess of childbirth, which is exact conjunct my Moon).

BTW my mom once told me that I was like that as a toddler, struggling to get off her arm, usually to crawl somewhere else interesting. Must have been the Sag urge of discovering the world.

This is opposite my Venus exact and completes the missing piece of the Mystic Rectangle that my Venus, Mars, and Saturn was trying to make. Furthermore, it also seems to be conjunct Regulus (28 degrees Leo).

How blissful lol

------------------
Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune
Scorpio Mars conj. Asc in First
8th House Moon opposite Pluto, Trine Uranus
Have you caught onto the predicament I'm in yet?
