We've been friends for three years and she is one of the most genuine people I know. We actually weather disagreements, as opposed to people who just fade away.
Oh nice! Woooowwww are you attracted to guys who have a balanced yin yang to them? Do they have sun/moon aspects in there natal? ------------------ Addicted to Self Relfection - Jupiter R in the 12th House IP: Logged |

BTW just for the record LIbra men really don`t do it for me (anymore). There was a time between 13-15 I had my Libra-phase, but I grew out of it very quickly. And those actually were early Libras, not late ones, as my Adonis would suggest. And while there have been a few whose MOon was conjunct or opposite my Adonis that I liked, the ones that really got under my skin, did not have personal planets on my Adonis. I think for me I find this placement handsome and beautiful, but it certainly is not enough to get my attraction motor running. (add a Sag or Aries Moon, a fire or earth Sun, an earthy Venus and a Virgo, Pisces or even Scorpio-Mars, and we might have a deal though!) IP: Logged |

Yeah exactly and that was my point I was trying to get across here that I find this placement for women who can say about what they find handsome in a man physically. That's all. And again I'm not saying for the last time I've been saying this so many times. We are not suggesting this asteroid in synastry on this thread this is just the natal alone. I get it ceridwen I agree I have not found a lot of men that I was attracted to that ASPECTED my Adonis but something about Adonis in my natal chart says a lot about the kind of guys I find irresistibly handsome throughout my life. Just because your Adonis is in libra does not mean you will automatically find libra men physically attractive! ------------------ Addicted to Self Relfection - Jupiter R in the 12th House IP: Logged |

Exactly. I find that sometimes there is a too simple equation placed on placements like this. Just generally in astrology not in this thread necessarily. Like people see I have Gemini-DESC and will think I must be totally into Geminis. To be honest except for Cancer i think there is no sign I am - generally speaking- less drawn to. BUT what I AM drawn to is something that could be deemed Gemini/Mercury symbolism. a certain flair of communication, an ease and playful flirtative vibe, chatting and such things. I love that kind of playful teasing that is already partially flirting. The humour, the wit accompanied with it, all of it being true to the symbolism of Gemini/Mercury, even though a Gemini person has never really been high on my attraction scale.

Yeah I understand well I see the descendant and the 7th ruler any 7th house planets really decribing our relationship personality, like who we become when we are in engaged in a relationship/commitment not necessarily what we are attracted to or what we are looking for in a person it's mainly who we are as a partner but that's just my opinion on it. But makes sense that you say you are not into geminis cause the descendant in my opinion is not really what we are attracted to. ------------------ Addicted to Self Relfection - Jupiter R in the 12th House

She did? When is she going to show us? A pity to do all that research and keep it a total secret. --- I grant you that the men I've gotten most attached to have heavy Pluto signatures. But I think everyone gets more attracted when Pluto is in the picture. IP: Logged |

I have Adonis conjunct Karma at 29 Scorpio in my 9th house. I don't like men very much but the only ones who catch my eye are like private unreachable intelectuals....Makes sense somehow I guess IP: Logged |

I have not found this to be true from my experience. I am not attracted to those who embody or aspect my natal Adonis in Libra in the 2nd. This may be because in my natal it's square my Venus/Uranus exact/or also conjunct my Nessus in Libra exact. Libra-like qualities don't attract me - except I do like artists and creatives, but this could be explained by other things in my chart like Pisces 7th house, ruler of 7th in my 5th house and other placements. However, in synastry, those who aspect my natal Adonis are attracted to me. In synastry, I'm attracted to those with Adonis in Scorpio which reflects my Sun/Mars sign. Every man I've ever been attracted to has his Adonis in Scorpio or on my Mars (all born within different years) - that's not a coincidence. I just noticed this a few weeks ago. What I always go back to is that the 12 planets, placements and aspects will always outweigh any asteroid. If the symbolism of the asteroid doesn't mesh with what's indicated by those 12 planets, I diminish it's value greatly.

I can attest to being both supremely attracted to my own Adonis placement (0* Scorpio, woof get me some Libra/Scorpio cusp energy and I am set for life). But also that, in general, I find anything in that spot attractive AF. My own aesthetic? Hell yeah. Another person's mind? Hell yeah. Their appearance? Hell yea. A type of music or song? HELL YEAH.I'd probably put Adonis as more of an aesthetic attraction- but not limited strictly to masculine person. Maaaaaaybe Masculine-type aesthetic, in some way, but not specifically men. I have Adonis in early Scorpio, in 10th house, tightly conjunct Pluto that is my chart ruler together with my (8th house) Sun, one could say I have a quite apparent Scorpionic vibe. But being attracted to bad boys it's a whole different story. I am usually attracted by artistically "dark" types, artists or just stylish libertines but not real delinquents, as far as I know Fact is, I need intellectual erotism to get turned on in the first place. my Adonis is in Libra conjunct my Libra Venus in the 8th house, and I am verrrry attracted to men with planets in Libra. Not necessarily their Sun, but mostly their Moon, Venus or Mars. All of my past exes have one or two of their planets in Libra. so what is the female equivalent of Adonis, is that Aphrodite?

Adonis in my Natal chart is at 2 degrees of Capricorn in my 11th. When I play with name asteroids I have noticed that the ones that fall right next to it, are the ones that I adore. For example:Boston conjunct Adonis. I absolutely LOVE Boston. Ad a few more name asteroids of people that I really get along with. IP: Logged |
