I have some promising Kundalini asteroid aspects in my forthcoming solar return and wondered what they mean. Has anyone else checked these in past or present solar returns?These are the Kundalini asteroids I checked: SIVA / PARVATI asteroids
Parvati 2847
Kaali 4227
Tara 5863
Siva 1170
Rudra 2629
Mahakala 10819
Shankar 22817
Mahalingam 18104
Hara 4640 2847, 4227, 5863, 1170, 2629, 10819, 22817, 18104, 4640 Then these too: Anand 23323 - joy, spiritual bliss
Garuda 2307 - a bird, mount of Vishnu, related to kundalini awakening

- divine music, sound heard when kundalini activated

- drink that confers bliss, immortality
Samadhi 12472 - enlightenment, nirvana, spiritual ecstasy
Vibhuti 25290 - sacred ash; valuable 23323, 2307, 4106, 2815
, 12472, 25290 I was mainly looking for conjunctions between male/female asteroids, hence portending kundalini awakening (or at least I think). Or it could be about meeting a SM.
Parvati conjunct Siva (0) - exactly on natal Vesta
Rudra conjunct Kaali (2) also conjunct SUN and MERCURY in 8th.

iQ had said -"Sun conjunct Kaali is a tactical reward aspect where you have done enough spiritual work to merit a strong and accessible Kundalini Energy, without need for advanced Yoga to activate Kundalini" This was in reference to natal KAALI conjunct SUN. Massive 1st AND 7th houses, with a 7th house Moon!I would personally interpret asteroids in a solar return in a way which pays homage to the natal interpretation, but contextualized in terms of what you've done up.until.this point, and the energies of this year as a natural progression of that which you have been doing, or the channels which have been open to you. Yungang, thanks for looking in.What would a massive 7th house mean? A romantic year? There is a strong kundalini/spiritual theme to the SR and Natal links. For e.g., I am excited about srMercury/Rudra being on my nSUN, nNEPTUNE and nKARMA. Mercury is a key planet for kundalini activation. And both in touching distance of srKAALI. srMOON is on nTARA
srNN is on nANGEL
srSATURN is on the Great Attractor on nISIS/SEKHMET So, there is much potential here waiting to be realised. But, as you said, it can only build on the previous year. IP: Logged |

This year your main focus will be on 8th house things, working towards kundalini awakening would definitely be an 8th house thing, esp with scorp kaali/rudra/merc conjunct your Sun. This will start before your actual birthday or SR...the energy warms up and becomes stronger as your day gets closer.The next thing you want to look at is where does your SR AC fall in your natal, that house is going to also be a focus for you this year regarding how your seen.
Then check out if any SR planets fall on natal angles.
Moon in 7th shows alot of emotional energy invested in relationships. Look at aspects to see if they love relationship or family/friends by checking out rulers of 3rd/4th/11th houses check both natal and SR house rulers and how they aspect your SR Moon. Primary importance is the SR Sun, it's house, condition, aspects in SR and in your natal chart.
Start your SR at the Sun sign...thats day 1 of your new year, 365 days, 360 degrees...you can almost watch your everyday events through the year.
Your day 1 is scorp@1 in the 8th house....it will be Jan before the tr. Sun will hit your SR AC/1st house and activate it.
When Tr. Sun hit Saggy@7, about Nov 28/29th your SR venus wil be activated, each planet will be activated by the transiting Sun and look at how all the tr. Planets aspect your planet thats being brought to life, it shows you alot about what will happen at that time. You can watch the asteriods the same way... IP: Logged |

Definitely compare natal planets that aspect SR planets...keep aspects very tight, nothing more than 3. The orb allowance will be felt like a transit planet crossing a natal planet, so if you can feel transits that are 4 degrees away from your natal planets then use 4 degrees. Personally i start feeling transits around 2.5 degrees away in conjunction. Everything else i give 0-2 degree.
If you look at where your SR Sun falls in your natal chart(your Scorpio house), that houses energy and direction will be blended together somehow with the 8th house since that is where your SR Sun is and its where your new year begins. This blending sets a deeper theme for your new year....more so than just looking at the SR 8th house alone. You can also look where those house rulers fall and aspect in both SR and natal chart. Their potential aspects will be triggered a few times during the year as the Sun passes over each planet that touches your Sun and potentially the house rulers that the SR Sun falls in, in your SR and natal chart. Take note of those days..plus afew days before n after. If any special events happens you'll start to see how aspects play out in your own life and how they feel. I learmed alot about how aspects feel when triggered by transits(or how it could feel when triggered in synastry) when i was watching my SR closely, and paid attention to weeks i was going to have planets/points activated by the tr. Sun. You can do the same as you do with the SR Sun with your SR Moon/AC/Venus...n so on, but the Sun is always the primary focus in SR. When you pinpoint important dates, go look at the ephemeris for that week to see if any other tr. planets will be making aspects.... IP: Logged |

Yeah wow I had not had a chance to look closely but that packed 8th house along with the Kundalini asteroids and ruler of the 8th on the 10th house cusp like that... indeed, seems very likely a year of following your ideal life path, a lot of growth and the realization or coming into consciousness of deep stuff.... an unfurling and a blossoming, as of a rare and special flower... But it is indeed hard to give a good interpretation without seeing the comparison to the natal chart (as Gabby said, it would be interesting to know which planets conjunct natal angles, etc).. I'm still learning about SRs, but what I've been noticing has been really accurate and fascinating (having heard conflicting reports on their efficacy I wasn't sure what I would find when I began observing them in earnest, but they seem really quite accurate). As you acknowledged, AstroKeen, the energy which this year makes available builds on last year and also sets up the potential for next year... So it's interesting to look at SRs sequentially, and consider how the transiting planets aspecting your natal chart year to year change the landscape so much...IP: Logged |

The only big issue i see with 8th house ruler being on 10th cusp is its an intercepted house...the energy will be hard to get to, honestly its like having something but its put in a jar thats out of reach.

Thank you both!The aspects with natal planets/asteroids I've mentioned are within 1 degree, mostly less than 30 minutes. Such as: SR Siva 25.17
SR Parvati 25.35
Natal Vesta 25.22 In last year's solar return, the kundalini asteroids were scattered all over the place - there was nothing noteworthy. What was nice was that I had Jupiter conjunct Venus in 10th exactly sextile Asc (all within 20 minutes) but I can't see how that is affecting me. The transit is NOW  ! The sun was in the 12th - I wonder if that made any difference. IP: Logged |

The Sun in 12th would make the years events hard to decipher, just like 12th house planets in a natal. Things might come to you in dreams or through intangables more than solid facts that you can really get your head around. Might have been preparing you for this year where the intangables(kundalini energy) are becoming more tangible. Its funny how these things flow together. A Sun in 12th will make for a year thats hard to fully understand what you really need or why things are happening, dont expect anything obviously outstanding in that solar return year...unless its dealing with 12th house stuff. Did you turn to religion or dig deeper in your personal spirituality? Did you spend a great deal of time working on yourself emotionally? Did you visit a hypnotist to do past life regression or just to work on an issue? Those would all be good possibilities of things that might happen during an 12th house, if you chose.
I had a 12th house Sun years back(my 2013 SR) and ended up taking a 3 month course on hypnosis and then did a lot of self hypnosis and rewired certain parts of myself to feel protected and love instead of vulnerable and afraid. Unfortunately when my SR Sun was in 8th and SR Moon in 5th, i got pregnant and lost the baby. 2010 SR.
My SR AC sat right on my natal BM Lilith, with SR Pluto sitting on SR MC, squaring the AC/Lilith from both charts.

Very sorry to hear you lost your baby, Gabby.Yes, this has been a very hard to understand year - topsy turvey with many endings which could be seen in two ways. I lost both my mum (end to her suffering) and my brother close to the start of the solar year. About the same time my painful relationship ended. Also a miscarriage for someone close - another ending. But I recovered/am recovering, and am hopeful for the next year. Certainly looks like some rewiring took place!

Im so sorry!! I know its been such a tough time for you, i dont know how your handeling it all so well. But Im sure youve had many breakdowns, im so sorry!
I see tthe moon is in 4th in your SR....mother/family/homelife will be what your emotionally focused on but that focus is falling under the Sun in 12th energy. That explains the year, sadly. This year hopefully will be all about picking yourself up and allowing growth to come from the pain.
Moon is in the 7th merging with the 8th house Sun, shows 8th house focus will be emotionally felt in your relationships.
Another words your year emotionally will focus on relationships...but with 8th house energy there maybe sexuality will be a big part of your year? Maybe a sexual relationship will be part of your emotional growth? That could be nice!

Today is the day when my SR Sun transits over my Jupiter/Venus conjunction in the 10th. This, Gabby pointed out to me, should activate those planets. I can safely say that I started the day well, had accomplished a fair amount by noon - and was feeling upbeat and motivated about the thesis I am working on. I had found some useful books in the library, even mowed the lawn. There was progress on the spiritual front too - last night I meditated and tried automatic writing in an attempt to connect ideas on the work I am grappling with. I think I got somewhere with that.Am wondering how long would the planetary effect last, once they have been activated by the SR Sun. It would be really very helpful if the current state persisted. It's something like a transit but i do believe the energy stays with you for the SR year, which is unlike a transit. It becomes more of a background energy instead of being acutely felt like it is when the Sun passes over it. The Sun can activate it again by aspect and bring it out again more strongly but nothing will be as strong as the conjunction with tr. Sun. Other tr. planets can and will also affect it but just not with the same intensity as the Sun.
Also if a planet or angle in SR is sitting on a natal personal planet or angle the energy will be a focal point throughout the SR year.

Very odd, isn't it! This is the same year as those endings I mentioned earlier and yet it has Jupiter conjunct Venus in the 10th. A balancing of energies, I guess, provided by both difficult and supportive aspects.IP: Logged |

The positive aspect wasn't awakened until late in year though, after youd started healing. That shows that you would start healing within the year and it would end on a more positive note.
SR demonstrates how the year progresses for you when you look at in regards to the 12 houses and the 12 months of your year.
No matter what number house the Sun is actually really m, that house is your 1st month of the SR year and the house number says what will be the most urgent energy you'll be dealing with that year.
You could almost say the house the Sun falls in is going to be like an Ascendant, but more personal...its how your year will look and feel to you. Its the color/energy your entire year will be most affected by. Honestly i love SR's for that reason, they really help break down how your life will play out month by month and year by year.
If you want to break it down even more, go look at your lunar return....you have a new lunar return every month so that chart breaks things down even further. Of course in the lunar return its your moon and its house that are of primary importance and show what your energy, your life/emotions will be focused on during that month.
As the tr. Moon passes through the LR houses (approx 3 houses a week, 12 degrees a day) the tr.moon will emotionally awaken planets and trigger emotions. I haven't done much of this...its just a hypothesis of mine but i think it could work, if you pay attention to the times when aspects from your SR are being activated and compare them with the LR from that same time you could see how you will be affected emotionally by those planets being activated and triggering different aspects to other planets/points/synastries IP: Logged |
