If there is anything I hate, it is someone who makes a hard subject even harder.

I like to make things practical. What does it serve you to read a tome on Juno and not be able to apply it to your life?

In that vein, let’s discuss Juno, Vesta, Ceres and Pallas.

Juno(3)

Juno is the loyal wife. It does not have to refer to a “wife”, specifically. It is the TRAITS of a loyal wife. This would be devotion, kindness and loyalty. Think of the marriage vows. They embody Juno.

Juno conjunct the North Node would have a Theme of Juno traits in her life. She would, most likely, be an amazing person. This would apply to Juno conjunct any personal planet(Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Venus) This would apply to Juno conjunct the Ascendant and MC.

Vesta(4)

Vesta is someone who helps and does service to others from a pure heart. Think of a seeing eye dog. I don’t know why this came to me. A dog is not a person, but a seeing eye dog embodies the traits of Vesta.

Vesta gives not to get, but to truly give.

Think of a women who would offer her womb to another woman who could not have a child, as does a surrogate mother. This would embody Vesta, too.

Ceres(1)

Ceres is my favorite. It is the unconditional love of a mother for her child. I think it is the most selfless of loves, although some other asteroids come close. I am a Cancer Moon and Mars, so may love for Ceres the best due to this. Cancer Moon would be a planetary placement which is similar to Ceres.

I am attracted to men who have a strong Ceres in their charts. Unconditional love is the prototype of Ceres. It can be present in any relationship.

For Ceres, think of a mother looking into the eyes of her newborn.

These are great in natal charts, but also a great indicator in synastry.

I have a lot of these in significant conjunctions in the synastry with someone who's very special to me, even though we're not together.

His Ceres is exactly conjunct my ascendant, my Vesta is conjunct his descendant, his Pallas is wide conjunct my Amor (3deg), his Juno is widely conjunct my sun (3deg).

Our relationship is one where we can't see each other often but we can just carry on where we left off. It's not easy to break that bond.
