Topic: Looking at asteroid 4451 GRIEVE

Looking for experience with this one, 4451 GRIEVE, in charts. Just noticed in a several charts it is conjunct Sun for loss of husband and conjunct Mars for loss of child (abortion). It's with those who have grieved or still grieving after many many years. Very difficult for them, a great loss. Any statistical data for this asteroid?IP: Logged |

Yes, my mother has the Sun conjunct GRIEVE, plus her NN @ 4 Taurus with Sabian, "A Widow at an Open Grave" and she lost her husband 20 years ago, never dated or remarried, still grieving with anger that he left her alone. They were everything to each other and her right eye began to deteriorate almost immediately because she could not "see" a future without him. This is how I came across grieving or loss asteroids, then I looked up other charts where there is debilitating grief and saw a connection. IP: Logged |

This may have a bearing in synastries too. My Grieve is conjunct my ex's SN. I would assume that a past life relationship with him caused me to grieve. Certainly this life relationship has caused grief too.IP: Logged |

well this is disconcerting. My Grieve is on 20 Libra exact on my DNA and opposing my Chiron, additionally falling ontoour composite NN-Amor-Cupido.
At one heartbreaking moment some years ago, Tr Grieve was on 22 LIbra conjunct my n Grieve by 2 degrees. (it was just a little heartache, nothing serious)
I also put this asteroid into a marriage chart. Turns out Grieve in the marriage chart is on 00 virgo conjunct Moon by 3 degrees, and actually exact conjunct the wife`s name in the chart. saturn actually was conjunct the husband`s own natal Grieve and the marriage chart`s Moon was or is square his natal grieve. Plus marriage charts grieve widely squares his natal grieve.
As I said a little peculiar.
(well the applying Moon-saturn-Neptune-T-square along with the exact Uranus-Juno-opposition and the Chiron-Jupiter-opposition, with Uranus exact quinkunx Jupiter and chiron quinkunx Juno already looked a bit like: HU? Seriously now? THAT someone needs in their marriage chart? But who am I to judge?
and my parent`s marriage charts has a T-square of Venus-Chiron conjunction opposing Uranus and squaring Mars, and they`ve been having a strong electric yet committed marriage for over 40 year - curiously Grieve sits on the ASC and trines Venus-Chiron, and also trines the NN)

My mom who has had a lot of grief in her life, especially in younger years, has Grieve on 00 Cancer opposing Chiron and squaring Moon.
Apparently I inherited the opposition to Chiron, though in my chart Grieve is - widely- trine my Moon.

My friend whose partner/ex recently passed away, the day he died Grieve was conjunct her Juno and square her exact Grieve/Jupiter conjunction (which is conjunct her ascendant). Her chart is a huge grand cross... Juno conjunct Lilith and Mercury, square Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn/Neptune in Capricorn... Moon in Aries.Grieve is reaching her Mercury now... IP: Logged |

Grief is healthy to express though. Not really a negative asteroid.Transiting Grieve is opposite my natal Grieve, one degree applying. It was opposite my Moon-Neptune when my friend died this past week. The grieving was immediate. When my Dad passed though, transiting Grieve wasn't significantly aspecting my chart... and I actually didn't properly grieve which caused a lot of trouble down the line, when the feelings manifested differently... in illness, paranoia, etc. Grief is healthy...
