Has anyone had experience of a man's Ceres conjunct a woman's sun in Cancer. I know this is the nurturing aspect and unconditional love for someone, the conjunction is almost exact. I am just curious as to how this feels to someone???

It does most of the time, I've seen him sit up and watch me sleep before, stroke my hair out of my face or just hold me close during the night, I swear I couldn't tell if it was a dream or not but I thought I felt him kiss my forehead and whisper he loved me. ( not sure though and I don't mention it as I want him to say those things when he is comfortable doing so if ever) Truly amazes me how nurturing he can be sometimes, affectionate and loving. Something I lacked in my childhood so it can make me feel really safe with him, not that I need that but it feels really good that I don't have to ask or feel like I am burdening him or something, this is just something that comes natural to him. I am a grown woman and it is hard for me to show needing dependance on a man or being needy in general, my ceres is in aries. What does he feel with this aspect in cancer, I think his Ceres is in his second house but not exactly sure. IP: Logged |

I imagine this would be a lovely, very genuine aspect.Ceres in the second house to me would suggest that he either sees nurturing as a form of currency/places high value on it, or possibly that he feels nurtured when given money or gifts perhaps. Could be high-end food gifts if it's in Cancer  One thing that strikes me reading this is what the difference would be between Ceres conjunct sun, and Ceres conjunct ascendant. If sun represents a very genuine deep nurturing, would the ascendant aspect show instead fake nurturing as in being seen to nurture? Or is it a love of the mask rather than the core persona? Or is it to do with being seen to care? Or does it still hold water as a genuine care/nurture aspect?

You know, this makes sense!!! I gave him a MBTI test and he came up an ESTP. From what I read and just knowing what I know of him, he fits this to a classic profile of one. They use gift giving as a way of showing affection towards someone as they are not good with expressing their emotions.
