Sun/Hekate

In this case, the native may not want to face something about his own ego or something about his relationship with his father. Also, the person may not want to face how much he wants to succeed.

Moon/Hekate

In this case, the native may not want to accept something about his emotions or the relationship with his mother. Also, the person may not want to face his/her feminine side i.e softness, kindness, gentleness.

Venus/Hekate
The person may not want to face something about how he is when he loves i.e that he is too selfish, as one example. There could be many possible examples.

Mars/Hekate
The person may not want to face something about how he goes after goals, such as that he is too ruthless, for one example. He may not want to face his own masculine side, as well. I just realised I have moon conjunct hekate - by less than half a degree. I can certainly relate to having discomfort with my femininity. And it appals me to admit it, but there are things about my mum that really make me cringe 😳

I love my son more than anyone or anything in the world. But parenting sucks quite a lot. It's hard, and I don't know what I'm doing and there are days when I wish I wasn't a mother. That's not to say I don't love him - it's a more complete and wonderful love I have ever known and he teaches me more every day... But being a mother is hard. I am not a natural.

But sometimes it's really difficult being a mum, especially a single mum. The shadow element is in admitting it's hard or that you're not in love with being a mother. Society is very hard on people who say that parenthood is anything other than sunshine and roses.

Eg I work full time do he's been in nursery since he was young - most of my peers go part-time when they have kids, and can be harsh on those who don't. For me, I needed to be back at work to stay sane, and it's worked out okay that we can see so far.

I'm not saying I'm a bad mother (I hope I'm not!) - just that I don't love it.

I get on with it, I am warm and loving and we like having a lot of fun - but I don't always enjoy it.

Honestly tho, I am not beating myself up. I genuinely feel that it is a valid perspective in this context - if hekate is about the side of yourself you don't like to face - my uncomfortable truths and feelings about being a mother can 100% be suggested by a tight moon-hekate conjunction.

Doesn't mean I follow through on it and neglect my son, if anything, the hint of guilt pulls me through to make more effort. Like any placement, there are good and bad sides, opportunities to grow or wither.

I'm not a bad mother (I hope!) - but it doesn't mean that I have to lead a perfect pinterest parent life either 😬 I could never do that. I could also never give up my work (6house moon) to be a full-time mother.
