Similar words: Serendipity

Origin: It is named after the old Persian name for Sri Lanka, which was used in the fairy tale "The Three Princes of Serendip". The heroes were always making pleasant discoveries of things they were not seeking.

The main things I felt at this time were an increased sense of connection to everything and a heightened sense of intuition. I could sense many things before they happened. To this day, the situation left a mark on me. Based on the experiences I had, I acknowledge that there are things about the universe that cannot be scientifically explained or backed up with pure logic.

I don't believe that anything is a coincidence anymore either, but my logical mind is back to being dominant. While nothing is a coincidence, not everything is as deep as I may think. Sometimes, an orange is just an orange, for example.

For the most part, many of my discoveries didn't have time to be written down. Due to more important priorities, I lost a very large amount of inspiration in November and this alone stirred up a powerful anger inside of me as a result. I still have a slight sense of what I experienced back then. It's not powerful enough to have any life-changing experiences, but something is there and I can sense the same kind of energy working in the background that was present last year. Even without the same access as before, the slight sense I have is strong enough to produce writing ideas.

1. The day I met my ex Tr Serendip was approaching conjuncting my Sun under 2d and sextiling his Sun conjunt Uranus. Out of all the days in my life if there was a time that something felt very strongly fated it was this time.

2. The day we broke up also felt just as fated and Serendip was conjuncting his Sun under 2d and sextiling my Sun.

3. The second time I moved to Colorado Tr Serendip was conjuncting my natal Serendip, Bless and Pholus stellium in the 4th house.

4. The day I closed on my current house Tr Serendip was in Cancer forming a Trine with my Moon. This house was very fated for me, when I first saw it, it was not in the market anymore and it was not in the market twice and somehow made its way back to me, it was the house I first got interested in when I started looking for a house. Getting this house definitely felt fated, even getting the loan was a bit of a miracle.

5. The month I moved to the USA Tr Serendip was conjuncting my sun.

I'm thinking unexpected discoveries in the home? Or could it mean a connection to Sri Lanka?

Neither particularly grab me based on my lived experience, but I do very much believe in and enjoy serendipity.

If I stretched this out, is this that I have hidden resources or am good at unearthing hidden things by chance (mine is in Gemini, and I was a journalist for many years).

Hmm this is a good shout. I do have a good intuition - I sometimes get 'the voice' of warning, Once, before I got mugged taking a shortcut, 'the voice' said 'don't' (as in don't take the shortcut) - I ignored it and got mugged. Another time I knew in advance that my then boyfriend would have a car accident on the way to work - I kept warning him to drive carefully as he left, and then half an hour later he called to say he had crashed into someone. Everyone was fine, but the feeling was very clear.

Not particularly positive things, but interesting.

On a more positive note, I am aware of things in my environment. So, if I'm thinking about something or someone, I'll suddenly see lots of number plates on cars that remind me of it. Or something random will come on the radio to bring someone or something to mind.

It's currently transiting my 4th house opposing my sun (to be exact, my sun/neptune midpoint), and sq. saturn/mars/asc/dsc. Not sure what its effect is though...

In regards to the transit, I guess there's been some signs? I rewound it a few months back and Serendip was conjunct IC. I got two long-awaited (good) news around that time and they really felt as if they were sent by some invisible force. Another event was that I met a someone who had amazingly similar interests/actions/personality as me. It was as if we were soulmates (in the friends sense)! Too bad we lost contact a few months later, but I suppose that counts as a pleasant surprise. Tr pluto also happened to be conjuncting my sun/moon midpoint natally, which meant it also conjunct Serendip. I took it to mean that these pleasant surprises (serendip) will influence me to transform (pluto) in some way? And since it's a retro. pluto, I suppose I'll have more of these transformative surprises then...

As for natally, I guess I seem lucky to the public (MC)? If it accounts for anything, I do notice that when playing almost any game, the "beginner's luck or fluke" tends to come to me easily. Though, it's a shame it doesn't usually last for subsequent rounds, it's still quite a nice thing to enjoy haha!

I have Eros in leo in the 8th so my experience of Eros is through erotic love, romantic love and my love for psychology and the occult but maybe been of service to others ignites you and maybe people are put in your path you feel fated to help and you enjoy this a lot and good comes from it.
