The inspiration for this was that it's part of the language my best friend and I use, so made sense, and I found Herzen 3052 (German for hearts) and also Hertz 16761 - this is named after the physics concept, but is pronounced the same as Herz (German for heart), so may be more about the physical side of the heart perhaps ie heartbeat, pulse etc.

So anyway, I started looking into Herzen.

I drew up a chart of when it was discovered. It has a sagittarius sun (brave, adventurous), libra moon (affects all equally?), and depending on the discovery time, the moon may form a minor trine with mars and saturn - possibly a reminder that when the heart is involved, it's serious stuff, combining action, responsibility and emotion.

Interestingly, Herzen itself is in Cancer at 1'58 in its own discovery chart. So I'd say this indicates this asteroid may have a nurturing angle/influence; and maybe takes on a similar feel to the moon. The sabian symbol for this degree is: A man on a magic carpet hovers over a large area of land - which suggests an imaginative, dreamy, neptunian quality perhaps as well.

So what I'm thinking this could represent is our heart's desire, or what things meet our heart's content.

Interestingly, mine is in taurus in the 4H, very close to my ceres (under 2deg), which may make it a difficult energy to distinguish. But for me, I do like to be nurtured. My heart's desire usually revolves around hugs and physical affection, and I love it when people make me amazing food.

As to the reason I looked it up in the first place, to see if it appeared in the synastry with this other person? Well, our Herzen's are conjunct (1.5deg), his is conjunct my ceres exact, mine is conjunct his Anand (23323) exact.

With Hertz - his is conjunct his IC and conjunct my Mercury, my Hertz is exactly conjunct his Vesta - again referencing the language we use about part of our hearts always being with the other (vomitworthy I know).

In the composite, our Hertz and Herzen is conjunct (1.5deg) in taurus.

So what do you think? Where is your Herzen? Does it represent your heart's desire? I'd love to know your experiences...!

I wasn't surprised to find Anand together with a collection of other spiritual asteroids on my CANCER Aries Point.

Hertz was conjunct my Pallas-Psyche H4Aquarius . That Needs some thought.

Herzen is at the end of H2Scorpio--can't see the significance of it right now at all. No conjunctions or oppositions with anything big.
