I do have a certain impish quality, it's fair to say. Weirdly, I do have some odd technical issues that only appear to effect me.

One time, my mouse wouldn't work after starting my work computer. Every day, I had to crawl under my desk, unplug the USB, plug it back in and then it'd work.

Network outages often hit me early on as well, which means I get to know the fix before everyone else needs it, which is helpful.

I looked up actual Gmelin. There were father and son scientists. One created a handbook for classifying creepy creatures inc snakes. Seems a neat link to the gremlin concept?

13350 Gmelin could have been named after some people in history.

There was a German born naturalist, botanist and entomologist named Johann Friedrich Gmelin, born August 8, 1748, died
1 November 1804 (aged 56).

His dad was Philipp Friedrich Gmelin.
(19 August 1721 – 9 May 1768)
A professor of botany and chemistry, he studied the chemistry of antimony, and wrote texts on the pancreatic ducts, on mineral waters, and on botany.

His uncle was traveler Johann Georg Gmelin (8 August 1709 – 20 May 1755), a German naturalist, botanist and geographer.

What else I liked was all the talent that was passed down through generations. Like biologically inherited. ...

The synchronicity with that (for me here) is the conjunction with Fixed Star Alkies ... having to do with talents that are handed down through generations!

That would in a surreal way, describe this family of zodiacal LEO Gmelins, involved with "Gaia" matters!

While I was growing up, I found an interest in Geology, and minerals, rocks, etc. I used to take my little rock-hammer, testing kit, and a bag to an athletic track field across the street from where I lived. I LOVED hunting through all the chunks of quartz, road granite, ~whatever!

Of course, those were 'older kids' to me... but I was teased! When they'd see me, they'd say-- "Oh look! It's the Little Miner!" (Then I'd run away! LOL)

If I could have added a 4th major in college (j/k), it would have been geology-geography.

Fits those degrees of Virgo in my H(9).

My own family was talented musically.
