This Asteroid is what is says. It is our inner child. This Asteroid is closest to the Moon, in terms of it’s nature. If one does not have good Moon aspects in synastry, one could check the Child Asteroid. I had it conjunct someone’s Moon. I could feel my inner child relax in this person’s presence. It was like he had known me, forever. It is a powerful Asteroid in synastry. It is a powerful Asteroid in the natal. Let’s talk about it for a bit.We all have an inner child. No matter how hard bitten is a man, he has an inner child. It could be layered over with pain. However, there is something that can touch his inner child. People who have shut down their inner child, from abuse, open it to animals or children. In the presence of these defenseless creatures, a stony heart can melt. That stony heart is the inner child. The Child Asteroid tells us the nature of our childhood. Wouldn’t we all want it trine the Sun? I have seen that in the chart of someone with a good childhood. On the other hand, one can extrapolate to a hard childhood. In the latter, the Child Asteroid will show the exact nature of the childhood. In my doing of the charts, I have found what I think is the single hardest placement. That would be Moon conjunct Dejanira. This seems to result in Borderline Personality Disorder. If not this, then a severe fracturing of the personality. It seems to show sexual abuse. The Child Asteroid conjunct Dejanira is a lesser form of this. There is abuse. It may be sexual. It results in some fracturing of the ego, but not to the extent of Deja conj the Moon. I would love you to check out your Child Asteroid and tell me what you find. We can learn together, as always! I didn't find much. My Child is in Gemini, but except for a very wide square to my Midheaven, it doesn't make any major aspects.Minor aspects it makes:
Mars quintile Child - orb of 0
Uranus bi-quintile Child - orb of 1
Neptune bi-quintile Child - orb of 0 I was seen as a very strange child. Due to how I was treated, my innocence as a child was short-lived and I often felt like an outcast. To this day, it is still true that I feel this way. Child's aspect with my Uranus could indicate that the expression of my individuality affected me in my childhood. As a child, this expression was criticized by my peers, but nowadays, even though I still feel like an outcast, I am less damaged by what other people think of me. Child's aspect with my Neptune makes me think of my creativity. I was a very creative child. Child's aspect with my Mars, on the other hand, could be a reflection of the tough environment I grew up in. My brother made it difficult for me to express any kind of aggression. His anger issues may have led to me bottling up my own anger and refusing to express it as a child just to avoid punishment. As I got older, after I developed depression at 10 years old, the conflict turned into trouble sustaining anger long enough to solve my problems in a productive way, so my anger never had an outlet and I never did anything about the stuff that bothered me. In the present, my anger can no longer be contained the way it was as a child. My anger very frequently turns into a powerful urge to get physical. The funny thing is even though Mars is how we go after what we want, I've never had much energy or motivation for actually pursuing my goals. Overall, I had a balanced childhood, but I also went through a lot of difficult experiences as a child too. I've experienced things that no child should ever have to experience. Mine is in Aquarius(11th).
From what I've read Asteroid aspects should be as close to exact as possible, so within 1deg?
The only close to exact aspects are:
- biquintile to 4th Chiron in cancer
- square 7th house Lilith in scorpio(asteroid)
- square 7th house Juno in scorpioOver 1deg, but not more than 2degs:
-square 1st house mercury
- square 7th house pluto What I do know about myself now is that I'm emotionally closed off. Not as much as they'd like or as much as I'm comfortable with. One question. Do aspects between Child and other asteroids have the same impact as Child with personal planets/angles? ------------------

Ami, what orb do you use for this one ?I have
a 5° child trine nessus
a 1° child square nodes
a 1° child inconjunct (150°) jupiter
an exact child inconjunct (150°) venus
a 2° child semi square chiron Its in aries, 5th house.
Now im really intrigued by all this .. i allways thought (felt) i have been abused but cant remember anything concrete..
What about moon oppose dejanira ?

Hi all!I just noticed doing my mom's asteroid chart that her Child asteroid makes an exact trine to her Moon, which both make trines to my Sun by 1 degree. Interesting, right?? Her Child also makes a square to her Pluto... hm. ------------------

Child conjuncts sun exact. :O  What do you think?I liked my childhood, but it wasn’t perfect. It was emotionally challenging for me. I Dont idealize the good things, but I am thankful for them now. I have Child conjuncting my Sun, Venus, IC, and South Node. All between 0 and 2 degrees AND in Cancer. Dear god, does this mean I have Peter Pan syndrome?  IP: Logged |

I have child square chiron, I was seeing someone who also had child square chiron, we were both wounded as kids, funny though in synastry both of our child/Chiron is activated in synastry. My chiron and child is conjunct/square his mercury and Pluto. His chiron and child is conjunct/square/opposite my venus and Jupiter. Lol. I’m not sure if there was a lot of healing in this relationship but there was definitely this feeling of being exposed and vulnerable to one another it felt awkward especially on his end. I have Child in 2nd house @ 1° Pisces. It is in wide conjunction with Dejanira @ 27° Aquarius. It squares my MC exact and forms biquintile with Chiron. Within 2°-3° it conjuncts Siva and Fomalhaut and squares Mars. There was emotional abuse in my childhood. I had to grow up really quickly. I have done a lot of healing work on the inner child and find myself taking things less seriously the older I get
