Ceres means:
-psychology
-food, good food (wealthy food)
-nutrition
-houses
-Cancerian things
-vampire things
-God things
-health adjustment things
-precision things
-Kids things
-movies things
...
Above off the top of my head. Many more things it means. Your ideas? :)

Examples:

-Al Capone (17 January 1899 -unknown time- (noon used) in Brooklyn, Kings, New York)
Sun in Capricorn
Moon in Aries
(strong man)
Pluto conjunct Neptune in Gemini (gangsta guy on the streets; playboy-type)
Opposite Venus and Saturn: Death and mourning (venus means people and saturn separations)
Ceres conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio:
I think he nourished (Ceres) his life (Jupiter) thru gangsta means (Scorpio). Meaningful? :)
Ceres conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio could also mean high philosophies.
Ceres could mean wife, and Jupiter troublesome in Scorpio. (troublesome wife)
It could also mean ice-cool emotions (Jupiter being wealth of emotions in Scorpio) and Ceres ice for some reason, I think. :)
In the noon chart, his CeresJupiter conj. is in the 6th house of work, so his work entailed all of these things, including ice-cool emotions. :)) :)

-Leonardo DiCaprio (birth date without time (noon chart:) 11 November 1974 in Hollywood, California.) :)
Ceres conjunct Jupiter in Pisces: :)
Pisces means Hollywood (movies!), dreams and money. :)
-Ceres conjunct Jupiter in Pisces:
.Early start in life and success! :)
.Big dreams! :)
.Young adulthood! :) (Early good movies!) :)
.Belief in God! :)
.High aspirations!
.Good acting
And so on... :) (more?) :)

Another example chart:
-John Entwhistle of THE WHO (band!) :) (Birth date: 9 October 1944 in London, United Kingdom)
Sun in Libra, Mars in Libra, Moon in Cancer conjucnt Saturn
A good musician! :)
-Ceres conjunct Jupiter in Virgo (machines! He's a bass guitar player and tuba player) :)
Meanings:
-Construction is heightened: He's a good constructor of songs! :)
-Keyboardist (Virgo is about keyboards--machines!) :)
Ceres sextile Moon in Cancer: Popular :)
-Shows (Ceres) that are great (Jup.) :)

Another example chart:
Sylvester Matushka, noon chart (always good! noon charts :) : 29 January 1892 in Csantaver, Hungary. :)
Ceres conjunct Venus and Jupiter in Pisces sextile Mercury in Capricorn! :)
He was an assassin! :)
Ceres means precesion and Jupiter in Pisces means death sometimes!
This combination with venus can mean mass death thru shootings (Mercury in Capricorn means ending thru a weapon when it is sextile Venus and Jupiter in Pisces sometimes) :)
Neptune is in Gemini as ruler of Ceres and Jupiter could mean a shooting rifle :)
Sadly, he did a lot of killing. But I'm sure he regretted it later.
-Ceres conjunct Jupiter in Pisces:
.Lots of blood (Health problems are Ceres and Pisces is bloody)
.Interpersonal relationships that are bad (Venus in Pisces means bad people sometimes and Ceres means lots of things sometimes, as here)
.Lack of good food in childhood! :) (Pisces means lack of, often!)
.Dreams (Pisces, Venus) of being a big (Jupiter) movie star! :) Ceres means job sometimes! :)
.Being sexy (Trying to be sexy! Venus in Pisces,...) Ceres means ability sometimes! :)

As you can see, Ceres means a lot of things, but not endless many things, just right as many as to be explainable to astrologers! :)

-Domenico Zipoli (Musician, Composer, Jesuit (Catholic) Missionary :) : Born on 17 October 1688 in Prato (Toscana) in Firenze, Italy! :) (good guy!) :)
He has a stellium in Libra! Sun, Mars and Saturn (music and religion!) :)
Mercuyr conjunct Venus in Scorpio (high thoughts! complex thoughts! religious and artistic thoughts! :) )
Ceres conjunct Jupiter in Capricorn in 1st house! Opposite Pluto, square Mars and Sun!
.A great doer! :)
.A wealthy mind!
.A Ceres-like nature (Capricorn means nature of something/someone) :)
.A healthy career-/business-man :) (Ceres means aspirations/goals!) :)
.Saturn and Sun and Mars in the 9th house in Libra! High religious and artistic and philosophical thoughts! :)

Could you have been in the Earthquake region (Mexico City just had devastating quake)?

Or, in the Islands (Atlantic/Gulf) that got wrecked by Hurricane Irma, then followed days later by Hurricane Maria the other day...? Cat 5!
