I think it would also depend on aspects that Juno makes.

Juno describes the marriage life, husband, partner yes... Maybe if you have got bad aspects to this planet you find it difficult to associate this planet and what it relates to, to the husband, marriage life, etc... Like me : Juno inconjunct the Moon...
And it's often said that it's the soulmate. Maybe it's how we view our perfect soulmate.

Oops, to this ASTEROID, not "planet". Just used to say "planet"

Merry Christmas, Empty Spaces

Juno-rx Cancer - Venus Pisces {cj F.S.Fomalhaut} - Hidalgo Scorpio
H1 - H9 - H5

Juno in Cancer page 171
desires emotional closeness and nurturing from their relationship.
Sharing food as ritual and a strong emphasis on home life are essential.
Moodiness, withdrawal, clinging, and dependent behavior arise when these emotional needs are not secured.

944 Hidalgo ... courage and dedication, and "protective themes";
including....
correcting injustices {protecting minorities, children, the weak and oppressed}
w Venus = of loved ones;
w Juno = partners; or again,
Social Causes -- is a symbol for the powerless... {for those w/o a Voice}
p. 196-197

Juno in the FIRST House p.173
correlates 'personal identity' H1 with 'being a partner' to someone else.
Relationship is self-expression,
and this individual may feel more secure to be themselves when they have the support of a partner.
This individual must learn the lessons of
how to initiate relationship encounters,
how to approach others, and,
how to get along with them.
The most important relationship interactions will occur in
how one presents oneself to others.

Juno-MOON aspects p.177
'The relatedness principle' {Juno} combines
with "emotional responsiveness." {MOON}
This combination indicates that
the fulfillment of one's emotional needs is linked to
having a meaningful relationship.
Harmonious aspects - imply the capacity for sensitivity and empathy toward others.
These individuals have the ability to be nurturing, supportive, and understanding of their partners.
This aspect is particularly appropriate for 'counselors' and 'performing artists' who can feel the emotions of others, and respond to them.
Stressful aspects - point to potential conflicts between meeting one's emotional needs and those of the partner.
The tendency may exist to project unconscious needs onto the partner
or to become a reflection of the partner's own desires.
Feelings of insecurity in either of the partners may bring out possessiveness, jealousy, or independency.
In addition, this individual may use emotional outbursts such as crying or throwing temper tantrums to manipulate and control the mate.
.. Juno-Moon individuals are often attracted to sympathetic and feeling (lunar) types.
If the projection is overdone, the partner may manifest as moody, dependent, or smothering.
The resolution of these challenges lies in
learning to find emotional security and fulfillment within oneself as-well-as through the partnership.

Juno-VENUS aspects p.178-179
The 'relatedness principle' {Juno} combines with the 'feminine principle of love and sexuality' {Venus}.
This combination emphasizes the romantic and aesthetic dimensions of relationship.
"Harmonious aspects" - indicate the ability to infuse love and the appreciation of beauty into one's relationships.
As part of creating a fulfilling relationship, these individuals can make themselves beautiful and sexually desirable to their partner.
They may also engage in artistically creative partnerships.

..Juno-Venus individuals can be attracted to artistic and sensual (Venusian) types.
If the projection is overdone, the partner may manifest as overly accommodating, self-indulgent, or superficial {beauty's only skin deep}.
... Resolution lies in learning inner appreciation of one's beauty and self worth, not dependent upon the opinions of others.

VESTA-Juno aspects p.145-146
'The focusing principle' {Vesta} combines with the 'relating urge' {Juno}.
This combination suggests an evolutionary path that begins with the autonomy of the self, and ends with a joining-together with others.
(Harmonious aspects)
indicate the ability to make a serious commitment to another.
These individuals dedicate themselves to purifying and perfecting their partnerships which often take on the form of sexually fulfilled, spiritual relationships.
{you have "opposition" aspect = stressful}
Stressful aspects -
indicate potential conflicts between one's 'personal needs' and 'relationship needs'.
These people may feel alienated from relationships or may experience isolation within-them.
In other instances, they may sacrifice themselves for their partners, or become obsessively involved with them.
Sexual domination and control may also exist as part of the interaction.
.. The resolution of these challenges lies in 'integrating' the role of the 'autonomous' individual within-the-context of a 'committed' partnership.

Vesta in Sagittarius p.137
[These] individuals focus best when they are working for something they can believe in.
An Ideal, or Cause, is the motivation which can generate their work energy.
Alienation can occur
if they become totally consumed with spreading or elaboration their own vision [to the point] until there is no consideration for the beliefs of others.
A sense of high adventure and truth-seeking stimulates sexual receptivity,
lack of honesty and loyalty can undermine the foundation of trust in relationships.
These individuals can also sublimate the sexual drive into their Causes.
An integrated blending reveals 'practical idealists' and 'mystics' who affect the material world.

-----------

Vesta in the SEVENTH House p.140
points to a dedication to working on one's relationships.
Yet, because Vesta strives for self-sufficiency and independence,
conflict may arise when seventh-house compromise and cooperative efforts are required.
Of then this person will become overly focused upon, or obsessed with, his or her primary relationship.

Juno is also associated with
beauty products, makeup, scents, jewelry and adornments, glamour, décor;
Women's Rights, advocacy and 'support groups'-- battered wives, abused children, crimes of sexual violence, rape, incest; also,
Clean and pure air, Quality of environment, climate;
Creative Talents in the Arts--
women's arts, performing arts, dance, drama, vocal.
p.169

Balance is the Key to all .......

You have some good things in your chart--
Wealth-stars. Some of those say that if you overcome the trap that comes with greed and materialism, you can achieve great success.

Go Make A Difference!

Juno aspects can flavour the expression.

My Juno is in Aries. I don't assume I will be one half of a partnership. And if I am, they will have to give me lots of freedom. This is Aries

My Juno in Aries opp Mars in Libra and Pluto in Scorpio.
And I must say that often my relationships do filter down to power plays and issues of control. This is the Scorpio flavour

(Thank you, Randall.)

Aries23Degrees ... What you described is what book Asteroid Goddesses said.

My own Juno is rx 4+ in Scorpio H11-scorp

I have a trine (orb 2a) between Juno Scorp and my Mars 2+ Cancer H7gem.

quote--
Juno-Mars aspects p.179
The 'relatedness principle' combines with the masculine principle of 'action and assertion.'
This combination emphasizes the challenge of cooperation versus competition that arises in relationships.
Harmonious aspects link energy, dynamism, and productivity to a relationship.
Intense passion and sexual finesse may contribute to relationship fulfillment.
The individuals may experience the desire to protect and defend their intimate partners.

Juno-Mars individuals may attract 'willful', assertive, and energetic types. If the projection is overdone, the partner can manifest as violent, self-centered, or abusive.
.. The resolution of these challenges lies in integrating the competitive, ego-oriented 'will' of Mars, with Juno's desire for cooperative union and harmony.

My Juno also squares Chiron-rx Aqua in H2capr {orb 0s},
opposes Psyche Taurus H5 {orb -1s},
semi-square Pallas Sag H1 {orb 2a}.

(I was going to repeat the story of how devastating the effects of my two marriages were to me, in earlier life, to my emotions, my hope, and my soul-- but decided to let it go.
Sometimes, I'll go over and over things in my mind, trying to see 'what' it was I did, how I could have made it better or not?

Choosing to Remember The Love...
and life opportunity I was given.

@mirage29.

I digress a little. But I have Juno in Aries conjunct Aries Asc. And I really don't see myself as being all about partnership and marriage.

Perhaps its because its in Aries. So Aries is associated more with the "idea" or initial stages of the relationship And not the long haul.

Its opposition to Mars in Libra in 6th conjunct Dsc is why I work hard at being fair when I am in a relationship.

I find that Mars in Libra goes all out to create peace and harmony. Libra really is all about creating harmony(even if on the surface).

Both Aries and Libra have 1 thing in common though. They both like romance, easily bored with the long haul and want to keep the spark alive.

I think Juno should be examined from the sign, the nature of the ruler and aspects. Not so?

Some great stuff here!

I think there's a nuance here as well - it maybe doesn't always describe the marriage partner, but the qualities you expect a partner to bring to you perhaps.

For example - I have juno in cancer. When I think about it, I very much see cancerian traits being brought to me by my marriage partner. Eg I really love someone who can cook for me, who will look after me if I'm ill, and who will bring cuddles and physical affection and all-round nurturing. These are things 'missing' in my everyday persona.

Admittedly, some of these fall under my taurus sun - eg a man who cooks - but i do feel it has a juno root.

Similarly, I think the house adds a lot of flavour - perhaps around the environment your marriage partner comes from. For me, my juno is in my 6th house - I have met several partners through work, and have a bit of a thing for men in the various services eg Armed forces, or health service.

I think this works for men too - my good friend has juno in Aries and I think he would look to his wife/partner to bring ambition and appetite to the partnership.

Just a theory

I was looking through the charts of friends and family recently to see their Juno signs and how they lined up with their mates. Most of the time I saw a clear connection. But what I saw most was how Juno also seemed to indicate a basic relationship connection between two people- so definitely emphasizing the committed relationship aspect.

For example, looking at my parents and grandparents to myself, my sister, and others. It was enough that I thought there could be a link.

I have mine in Aqua in 3rd house. I have never been committed to an Aqua, but I do love Uranian types. My most committed relationships were two Cancers and one Taurus. And though I was married for 13 years, I have absolutely no desire to ever be married again. Committed, yes. Married, no. I don't even have the desire to share a home now. Maybe someone will come along and change my mind, but so far, so good.

Sorry for letting this thread.I'm dealing with some personal issues on real life.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks a lot Mirage,you are so kind (I didn't know you have my chart ahahah).All this makes a lot of sense! I never heard about that asteroid "hidalgo" but it seems to fit wow!
Do you mind to tell me where do you see the greed and materialism on my chart?It is the cap sun?I didn't know my chart pointed to wealth-stars either.I'm on a process of starting to like my chart and accept as it is.
I'm using it to improve myself.

My vesta is in sagittarius
It is too late to say "merry christmas" but I wish you have a nice and lovely year ahead!

No I'm studying.I still don't know what I should do,so I'm working on self-knowledge and building up my confidence.Somehow along the way I have lost my sense of identity which is very common for a sun/neptune person I guess but I will get there!! I'm feeling much better than ever before.
