Sorry i know another post on Kaali!Just wondering if anyone with a prominent kaali placement has had experience with kundalini yoga/awakening .. I went to sit by the river the other night and did some barefoot Qigong, Tai chi, visualization meditiation and then went into kundalini yoga, iv been practising a little bit and felt like doing a few serious poses, have always heard alot about Kaali and Kundalini yoga so i did a breathe of fire kundalini yoga pose with deep belly breathing focusing on the kundalini rising up from my root chakra and base of spine up through the spine and channeling into my 3rd eye, i did it for about 10 minutes and after i finished i felt a powerful overwhelming abundance of energy, but i was also deeply sweating, anxious, heart beating heavily and unsettled with a strong sense of "fear" which carried on for about 45 minutes until i managed to relax back into my self .. Is this a normal thing when working with Kundalini? Ive felt alot more energised and rooted in myself since but was very intense when i did it .. my Sun is conjunct Kaali (1orb) in Sagittarius, 6th house .. Thanks, Sat.Nam ------------------ Grounding, Sungazing Our heart resonates with the earth 7.83HZ Indigo Warrior IP: Logged |

Kaali's asteroid number is 4227.I've had no personal experience with kundalini awakening, but from what I know about the chakras, "fear" is often tied to the root chakra. If your root chakra is beginning to open or is open, you may be starting to experience fear. Fear is experienced with the opening of the root chakra if there are fears that you have not dealt with. Once you have dealt with your fears by overcoming them, the feeling will go away. Additionally, you mentioned feeling more energized and rooted in yourself at the time and keeping yourself grounded is related to the root chakra. There are plenty of sources online that can tell you more about the root chakra. It's not uncommon for people just opening their root chakra to go through a period of time where they must deal with their fears. IP: Logged |

Thanks for replying. Yeah i can resonate with it being connected to the Root chakra, i have a book i use on chakras and i generally match up with the "Shcizoid" chakra type which is blocked and unbalanced lower chakras and highly developed upper chakras, bringing more grounding work in and nature-centered excercises i guess is a good move for developing stronger roots. I have been doping Kundalini Yoga for a long time. I can do the various breath techniques for a long time--like about 25 minutes. I never had anything bad happen to me. I really don't believe the people with the bad experiences. That is my opinion.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Maybe you have clear circuit OR maybe you have gone step by step, right from the bottom, I'm just guessing btw. I have seen that people who take shortcuts to wake up kundalini tend to go "a bit" nuts cuz they never did proper groundworks which are a must when it comes to kundalini. To be completely honest I practice a technique related to kundalini's energy too and I've never had anything "bad" happen to me except this one instance where I managed to dislocate my jaw which did not let me close my mouth at all( imagine not being able to close ur mouth) coz I stretched my mouth too wide for a toooo long time and the first thing that popped up in my fcking mind when I checked my fked up dislocated face on my phone using the front camera was "goshhh!! how am I gonna get girlssss nowww !!!!!? omgggggghhh ( my jaw opened wider than this I swear lol) . Then I spent the next 10-15 minutes panickinggg and jumping around the room hoping it would somehow shut itself and even tried to close my mouth by applying sheer pressure(oucchhh!!! . bad idea), thnk fck for the internet though, I came across this article which contained steps of fixing a dislocated jaw at home and well, in went the thumb! and somehow my jaw decided to shut itself.

Thats cool that you've put the time to learn the ways of Kundalini Yoga, do you have a prominent Kaali? My Mum is a yoga teacher, though she doesnt do Kundalini yoga, shes in India at the minute studying in the mountains! I learnt a few poses off of my friend who i live with from Hawaii. I've never had the experience before doing it but i have read of other people who have had certain, different "rushes" of energy after doing Kundalini work for the first few times ... What the person said about root chakra work could resonate though. thanks, sat.nam.

Hey man. Plutofish? Haha i was 18 going through a bit of a crisis :x Yeh i've seen videos etc of people saying they've had negative experiences from Kundalini awakening, but lots of people have said theyv felt more subtle, energetic differeneces etc, could of been something non-kundalini related, but i was wondering cus i hear of a lot of the Kaali asteroid related to Kundalini and also the darker side of it .. Hahah sucks man! stay focused on keeping on your jaw in alignment next time? :d ------------------ Grounding, Sungazing Our heart resonates with the earth 7.83HZ Indigo Warrior IP: Logged |
