This is a guy. He seems nice but a bit off. I noticed in his natal chart he has Nessus in Cancer square Pluto in Libra opposite Ceres in Aries

The reason I ask is because that seems like very aggressive energy for a person with North in Virgo, South Node in Pisces because you feel that South Node energy

What do u guys think?

Nessus has to be super close in a square---1-2

the opinions on nessus aren't exactly solid and the "will be an abuser" **** is ridiculous

i have it 2 degrees conjunct my sun (along with rudra, kaali, sisyphus, and tyche) and i'm not like that

you realize when you read about it the most negative **** all stems from one person's opinion (the chick who responded above me) right?

mine is at 28 degrees leo (my sun is 0 degrees virgo) right by regulus

edit:

just think about it logically, no other transit or placement manifests in one specific way every time, most of what you come across for everything has multiple possibilities and isn't one-dimensional so why would this specific asteroid always just mean one thing?

also all charts need to be viewed as a whole not as a single aspect so you need to factor in everything because some things balance other **** out

like i said though there's not much information about nessus out there (and in comparison to the massive amounts of history and research other astrological signs and placements etc have it's virtually nothing) and a good deal of it is only based on one person's view when you really look at what you're reading

just something to consider before you judge the guy too harshly based on an asteroid

They are within 2 degrees of each other. Based on what people say about Nessus its either there's abusive tendencies triggered by childhood trauma (Ceres) or this is showing me what the childhood trauma is but he doesn't hurt anyone

Based off the planets and signs. How to interpret? I've read about Pluto in Libra and possible karmic patterns in terms of relationships but I'm quite sure how it works with Ceres in Aries which I see as a very independent person

Well, it is one rather small aspect in a whole chart, first of all, and with Pluto, it is in Libra for a generation, so I don't think you can assign that much meaning to the signs here, Love.

Houses would be more important here, but again it is a rather small aspect in an entire chart with hundreds of aspects.

pluto square to nessus opposed to ceres is indicative of abusive conditions in childhood. the inclusion of ceres makes it very emotional destructive as that shows a provide/mother subjected him to alternately love /hate emotional experiences.

singularly nessus can just shows a very defensive personality structure but to have pluto square to nessus increases the likelihood of severe emotional trauma.

as always the entire chart must be considered. generally with this aspect oif the person has strong trines to the conscious planets then, he might be a victim of abuse. if there are only hard aspects then he could be a abuser.

Thank u Todd. I didn't have a way to post the chart but I did look and he has Sun/Venus/Jupiter in Leo conjunction trine his Neptune in Sagittarius. He is creative. And that 3 planet conjunction is sextile his Pluto.
It just seems like a dramatic aspect I was surprised to find it in an otherwise "sunny" Leo filled chart
..as long as it doesn't point to excessive control issues.
In synastry my Saturn in Capricorn creates a grand cross with his Nessus square Pluto opposite Ceres
And his Saturn in Virgo is with my Moon opposite my Mercury
