Nymphe and Eros are said to be very sexual asteroids (although not exclusively). How would you interpret them in hard aspect in a natal chart? IP: Logged |

A struggle with them i.e a struggle with the erotic or sexuality. The square is a struggle to the planets or asteroids within.------------------

With Nymphe and Eros in hard aspect to planets, I wonder if they take on their alternate meanings.I believe Kim Falconer once provided a interpretation for Moon square Eros as being control issues with ones mother. This resonated with me as I have the aspect exact in the 4th house and have many power struggles with my mother. My mom's Sun is also conjunct my Eros. My Nymphe in the 1st is opposite my Moon in the 7th exact. Not sure I interpret this.... IP: Logged |

Yes but this is one rather small aspect in an entire chart. People have to be careful to weight aspects. If not, they get off base with too many small aspects especially with asteroids.------------------

i have eros square pluto (pluto is in my 1st house in scorpio eros is in aquarius 4th house) and nymphe conjunct my libra ascendant (also have venus conjunct my ascendant from the 12th)when it comes to sex i'm pretty open minded (bi up to trying nearly anything) and have an easy time getting laid, but me and sober sex don't always go well together and i have a tendency to draw in people who are really pushy/invasive had strangers just touch me, people get weird with me after having sex, used to have a female co worker who would walk over and grope me and tell me she wanted to **** me (used to try to joke about it because no one takes it seriously when a woman does **** like that anyway) etc IP: Logged |

If you take the 'fornication-factor' out of it  -- Since you mentioned your mom----
Nymphe .. is a stage of growth and development that has not quite progressed into the 'full maturation' stage YET. Eros .. also represents the energy of your Will to Live, the Zest of life, the Dynamism and Passion behind actions. You never told us what "sign" your Nymphe and Eros are in? Just that you have your Nymphe on your Ascendant with your Moon ON the Descendent/H7.

i think my nymphe might oppose my aries moon too (i have moon conjunct descendant) by 2 degrees, it's 1 degree conjunct my ascendant edit: my bad it's 3 degrees opposite my moon, 2 degrees from my ascendant (conjunct my south node too by 2 degrees) i know some people give asteroids 3 degrees though IP: Logged |

With my placements..I have Nymphe Taurus 0.52 ON 5th House cusp 0.42.
Have Eros Taurus 21.21 near end of 5th House. Have Venus in-between them at 12+ Taurus.
Eros Taurus trines my Moon Virgo 24.56 H(9). With the 'mom' factor? --------------
My mother didn't allow me to date!!
while I was in high school.
She and my dad were EXTREMELY BACKWARDS, strict and old-fashioned.
I wasn't going to be "allowed" to leave my home UNLESS I was engaged WITH a 'plan' to be married.. and.. they wouldn't let me see boys!! WTF??? lol.
My mother wouldn't even let me have friends.. She'd do things to block them. Would grab the phone away from me and tell them I'm a bad person and don't 'deserve' to have friends, and NEVER to call again-- then hang up.
.. She had HER Venus conjunct mine and DIRECTLY across from Saturn-rx Scorpio 11th.
.. Her Mars and Chiron were ON my trad.unaspected Sun Gem in 6th House Taurus.
Thing is, my "friends" at school never were my allies-- You'd think that they would defy her, and take-up for ME, and, they were too afraid of HER. {Yeah.. she was a really angry person with LOTS of dramatic acting out, even violently.
Actually, I think she was in the 'chemical trap' of the 1960s they used to call The Valley of The Dolls {hooked on prescription ups/downers}. Her body was chemically under siege, while she tried to raise 4 kids, starting with me as first child while she was a teenager. *~ So.. Back to H5 Nymphe and Eros.

I have nymphe conjunct my sun in the 12H and Eros conjunct my Neptune in the 8H. I've never been a sexual person and I find it very hard to connect with someone or even feel sexual attraction. IP: Logged |
