What is vesta like? Are there other planets/signs it would be comparable to? I have a vesta prominent chart and have no clue what that means lol.

I don't know either. I have it conjunct my Mars, square my Moon/Venus/Nodes, and trine my Uranus/ascendant.

I have Vesta conjunct my Sun in Gemini 9th house, square Moon in Virgo 12th, and exactly trine/sextile to my nodal axis (NN in Aries 7th).

I think I have a pretty good feel for what Vesta does in my chart, but my impression may be diluted by other influences so it's a bit hard to tell. I associate Vesta with focus, dedication, integrity, guardianship, being self-reliant, and in my case also avoidance of marriage, virginity and asexuality. I think the latter priniciple could just as easily be an very passionate sexuality combined with a lack of committment though, or a deep and almost sacred devotion towards a partner... depending on Vesta's placement, aspects, and other features of the chart.

Thank you all for replies! I have vesta conjunct mars and square my sun/moon conjunction.

@nadja I think you have described it pretty well. I have read that it can also be a “devotion” to working/career which could be my case with it conjunct mars in 10th house. I have also read it is similar vibe to Virgo/Scorpio but wonder if that’s true.
