120 Lachesis .. can have to do with "things taking their course." Just because things are in 'opposition' doesn't always make it a negative-- especially with Jupiter involved.

JUNO-JUPITER Aspects
The relatedness principle (Juno)
combines with the expansive/broadening urge (Jupiter).
This combination emphasizes the mythic process symbolized by Juno and Jupiter as 'idealized' husband and wife.
.. Harmonious aspects
describe a search for truth and meaning in and through relationships.
Often, these individuals will experience the desire for a complete "meeting of the minds" on mental, emotional, sexual, and spiritual levels.
They may also choose to work with a partner for the advancement of a shared philosophical, educational, or religious belief system.
.. Stressful aspects
point to potential conflict between 'the ideas' and 'the reality' of one's relationship.
These individuals, like Juno herself,
may experience frustration, resentment, and despair in their intimate partnerships ..
and may subsequently strive to correct the inequalities and injustices.
This aspect may also depict an exaggerated emphasis on the importance of relationships.
Juno-Jupiter individuals
are attracted to philosophical and adventuresome types.
If the projection is overdone,
the partner [you get] may be arrogant, self-righteous, and extravagant.
The resolution of these challenges
lies in the development of a mutually agreeable moral and philosophical code,
which allows for balance and equality within a partnership.
For the health of the planet, this balance should extend to relationships between all men and women ..
Chart example
.. individual whose marriages have emulated the royal prominence of Jupiter and Juno include..
* Queen Elizabeth II, with Juno conjunct Jupiter in a first house (for her, in Aquarius).

Juno zodiac-sign correction from Cancer to LEO.
_______________
JUNO in sign of LEO
individuals need admiration and excitement
in their relationship.
The romantic rites of courtship need to continue into the marriage,
and the person must take pride in the partner.
Being taken for granted, rejected, or ignored, can produce egocentric, selfish behavior, and inappropriate means of gaining attention.
Chart example
Ballerina Margot Fonteyn, with Juno conjunct Neptune in Leo, has had an 'artistically creative partnership', with Rudolf Nureyev.
JUNO in the 1st House
correlates 'personal identity' (H1)
with being a partner to someone else.
Relationship = self-expression!
This individual may feel more secure to 'be' themselves, when they have the support of a partner.
This individual must learn the lesson of
how to initiate relationship encounters,
how to approach others,
and how to get along with them.
The most important relationship interactions
will occur in 'how' one presents oneself to others.
Chart example
Foreign ambassador and diplomat Clare Booth Luce was born with Juno Rising, in the sign of Sagittarius. {Chart link provided.}

120 Lachesis
was discovered on April 10, 1872 by Alphonse Borrelly at Marseilles, France.
It has a period of 5 years, 182 days,
and is slightly less than 130 miles in diameter.
It was named for one of the Moirae, or Fates in Greek mythology (whom the Romans knew as Parcae).
[It was] Lachesis, who determined the 'length' of the thread of life.
The others were Klotho and Atropos.
Martha Lang-Wescott says Lachesis signifies
* intervention,
* assessment midway into a sequence,
* what 'interrupts' an evolving sequence from going as one would have expected (from the way it began or is underway).
Marianne Alexander adds
* [it's] what happens when something is allowed to continue without intervention;
* or something that occurs by 'default'.
One may also say Lachesis indicates
* deciding the 'length or duration' of something,
* putting a stop to something (or trying to).
