Thanks Bjorkstrand. Seems that Erasmus catches-up to the degree of the Sun for Christmas Week and New Year's Day!

COMET ERASMUS
C/2020 S3 (Erasmus)

Discovery Date = September 17, 2020

Here's a picture of the person who discovered Erasmus. Comet is named after himself.

I poked around to find something significant about the name 'Erasmus'. There was a medieval philosopher and scholar named Desiderius Erasmus (of) Roterodamus.

Religious tolerance was one of the things he was noted for.

Syncretism -- definition
"is the combining of different beliefs, while blending practices of various schools of thought.
Syncretism involves the merging or assimilation of several originally discrete traditions, especially in the theology and mythology of religion, thus asserting an underlying unity and allowing for an inclusive approach to other faiths.
. .
Syncretism also occurs commonly in expressions of arts and culture (known as eclecticism) as well as politics (syncretic politics)."
. .
{This practice was common during the Hellenistic period.}

Not saying that this is what Erasmus stands for, but, as it surges through the sign of Sagittarius, I'm adding philosophical content that extends from the name. I like pondering new things.

For the time period that Comet Erasmus approaches and moves past the Sun, we will be in the period of time where people of multiple cultures yearly meet to celebrate and practice their feasts and rituals.

*~
Astrologically, and in the visible night sky, JUPITER and SATURN will form a visually bright conjunction in the starting degrees of the tropical sign of Aquarius.

There are Higher and lower expressions to every sign, and to each of the ways that planets can express themselves.

In Vedic nakshatra systems, the first few degrees of western zodiac sign of Aquarius, correspond to 'Uttara Ashadha' nakshatra (The power of complete victory; Winning for the highest good of all), and 'Shravana' nakshatra (The power to connect; Listening to others for wisdom and greater understanding).
