 She's the daughter of the god of Air. (Air is Aqua, RA rules Aqua)

 I see the image in my mind's eye of her with this jar of water upon her head - she is the Aquarius symbol of her time. Take the wiggle lines (glyphs)  ♒ they use for  Aquarius.  Together just far enough for a human being to straddle upward as you might on a staircase on a ladder   Nut is our Aquarius symbol. It must be forgotten or hidden.  Possibly both. This glyph is of water, sometimes voltage however the ladder is hers.

Also much debate has been on our darkness coming ~ as well scripted notes about "sackcloth ..with our Sun, darkness in scripts and predicted texts.

 In the days of Aquarius, Nut 'could' swallow the Sun  (Ra)  for more than one day (night) as in alchemy we have 4 Suns:
    Red. White. Yellow and black.

Regarding the ladder -
"Her sacred symbol is a ladder known as the maqet from which Osiris stepped on and climbed to enter the kingdom of the skies and the dwelling of his mother Nut. Such ladder symbol may be found in tombs as a protection of the deceased and to invoke the help of the deity of the dead."
     The ladder to the Stars! The Star in occult/tarot is Aquarius.

Nut is also one of a cluster of asteroids that sit opposite my DNA (at 20 Virgo, 12th house). Other notable asteroids in this cluster are: Bennu, Nocturna, Heracles, Seth (not actually named after the Egyptian god, but still...) and Akashi.

I also found, when looking through the charts I have saved, that I have a couple close relatives with Nut exactly conjunct Mars. Both in Aquarius, but I have no exact birth time for either person so I don't know which house. One of them has this conjunction exactly on their South Node, opposite an exact conjunction of North Node and Chiron. I imagine that Nut was an important influence in the life of the latter relative, but I can't really tell how.
