First off, really really insightful thread on Ophelia. I was casually looking for asteroids that gave off a yearning, longing feeling (ex: Nostalgia, Melancholia) but still what an eye opening asteroid.

Out of curiosity, I checked this with someone I'm interested in and to my surprise, we both have Ophelia conjunct each other's ASC in the 12th house with a 4 degree orb.

Also, we have Ophelia + Venus + ASC conjunct in the composite also in the 12th, each in a 2 degree orb.

My first thought from Ophelia's purpose is that, perhaps, we will both help and heal (Ophelia) ourselves from our outer identity (ASC)?

However, I'm still a bit confused on the difference between Ophelia and Chiron..

I'd love to know what you think
