In our charts, mythological characters (names) are listed by 'the sign & degree' they are found.
Mythological names belong to 'stories'.
First, take each name and become familiar with the family, the culture, the events they are singly (individually) related to.
At first, do NOT mix characters from one story to another, until you have been well immersed with the 'group' (group story) they played a part in.
You might even consider keeping individual cards with keywords, and short history blurb on each.
. .
{hmmm. Like sports enthusiasts may keep Baseball Stat Cards on each player. Each player performs a certain role for the team.}
Sometimes Players are assigned (traded) to a new Team -- but still do the same functions. Same person, different Team.
You can have same 'kind' of person represented mythologically, but in a different 'culture'/team.
So, in the beginning, know the Players and how they functioned 'within' their own Team.
The first two Players you listed, are game players from same Team. --- Actually, it's more complicated than that. Reason? The Ancient Egyptian stories have been passed along for a MUCH LONGER time, giving more probability that the 'original' story will have been tweaked/changed condensed enhanced toned-down over thousands of years.
Hathor : Sekmet
Those two are actually 'the same person' described at certain developmental stages of its life. Hathor 'changed' her attitude, her personality, after adverse negative time period. Her personality changed more to being destructive.
Hathor... originator from stories and observations of planet VENUS as people on earth, going through historic periods of time, associated with her.
Some asteroids from one period and culture, yet 'performing' the same function, can be found together in degrees IN your chart's Houses!
Houses they are found in, and in close proximity to Planets and Points, can describe its effect with greater refinement.
{placidus-- is the most precise when it comes to Houses, and 'timings' in your personal history. I'm an older person, lived out almost ALL my life thus far. Through 'experiences' and events, I can look at my asteroids and subtle effects there are so much more clear.}
Another COINCIDENCE
Asteroids from DIFFERENT cultural teams and times-- under your same degree/Sign/House position-- CAN amazingly copy/describe SAME energetic role, function, and effects.
I have a notebook with my asteroids listed by Zodiac Degree.
5381 Sekhmet in 0.22 Libra e.o. 9th House(Leo)
{'appropriate controlled destruction'}
WITH
20952 Tydeus {sta.Direct} 0.27 Libra

I had an interest in mythology while I was in high school. I'd go to the library and there were encyclopedia-type volumes ON the various characters in mythology.
You could go to a local bigger bookstore and find paperback dictionaries and some mythology books. These can be tossed in your backpack, and read during commutes, or a rest period on a park bench. Read the stories in 'sips', and let these stories actually 'live' in your imagination {like you saw a movie}. After a while?... Start to notice which 'emotions' are triggered inside yourself as you read them. Try to imagine yourself IN the movie, being the character. What is evoked in your imagination, your emotions...
Those emotions will 'fit' something from your 'own' life story. We kind of embody the characters of some of the stories.
Like even the Grimm Fairy Tales. Stories of Cinderella, Snow White. There are the Disney movies that have depicted stories of Pocahantas, Mulan. We have our modern heros.
Even if you watch Star Trek series, OR some like the TV Series called "Friends." EACH of those characters tell a story about some part of human personality.
So basically, be a Watcher in your imagination. WHICH role do 'you' play, or did your mom or dad or siblings play. Your body-senses can give cues.
Graves Mythology was my first love.
I have a paperback 'Bulfinch's Mythology'.
Book about 'the great stories of Greek and Roman Mythology' specially arranged for children .. by an Educational Expert.
'Classic Myths to Read Aloud'.
Have one called 'The Chiron Dictionary of Greek and Roman Mythology : gods and goddesses, heroes, places, and events of antiquity.'
I have a handful more.
But, I hope you understand what I'm saying.
Some of the stories about the SAME hero can 'change' depending on the teller (author). Your assignment is to read and get a taste, and have an open VERSITAL mind.
Stories about the Characters in your life.
The things you've watched change as you lived with care-givers, parent(s), people in authority that you've been influenced by.
My parents were teens when I was born.
I clearly recall events in their lives, and how it changed them, as they went through their {astrological life-transits}. We ALL go through those at various ages. They help us 'develop' and grow.
HATHOR
Hathor's character and personality changed as she became 'more experienced' in her goddess life. Suffering disappointments, etc., she had reactive changes in her personality--- some which were not-so-nice!!
Things that happened to Hathor, turned her into the personality of Sekmet {a destroyer}, till the energy of that was settled into other parts of mythology.
There are mythologies that come from various cultures.
The Egyptian myths are very ancient.
The older the myths go back, the more complex these seem. They were added to or detracted IN the passing down of their tales by the imaginative retellings of the story-tellers. AND, as real-life history was being lived, it's logical that some of the stories morphed as they did, over long long periods of time.
Just as 'you' have had changes since earlier teens, to older teen, into your 20s?
Hathor as a teen, would be different from the way Hathor presents herself in her 30s, and even more different as Hather entered her mid-life crises. And, her maturing as approached elder hood.
So in a way, Hathor was her own main character. Sekmet was a phase of her history and the developing-self.
YouTube -- If you search the name, you will get thousands of suggestions.
Hunt the whole family constellation told about Hathor, and all the others mentioned in that same time period. Know each of the characters--- sink into the imagination and identify these in your own life. {The older you get, the more seasoned you are with life's experiences, the CLEARER you'll understand what these 'say' about your OWN life.}
Here's a YouTuber that made a series on the Egyptian goddesses. I liked the stories a lot. Make a way to jot down some notes.

AROUND YOUR VENUS
When I went VERY deep into studies years ago when I started, I found that 'Hygeia' is an expression {spin-off} of a role played by the goddess Pallas Athene:
Hygeia is the expression of Pallas Athene AS the 'goddess of miraculous healing'.
{ref
Demetra George, Douglas Bloch,
see/purchase their book
'Asteroid Goddesses' -- new 1986 edition}
Hygeia is generally thought about in her role with germ/infection control-- keeping clean and sanitizing to protect the health of the body in its environment.
Medical symbol, surgery rooms, sterilization, wound cleansing.
She's part of a subgroup of other health gods.
They work hand-in-glove {pun *grin*}?
I've seen where she's also involved with issues surrounding mental health--
aka, 'mental hygiene.'
*
You have VENUS
with Hestia
{goddess of the hearth, is known most in her domestic role as keep environmental places in good functioning order, homemaking and organizing function};
{she was also considered the Kindest and most-compassionate among the gods}
So, taking up the thought of her being conjunct Hygeia,
she ensures a place clean and organized, free of infection, germs that could harm the occupants: human, pet, plants}
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hestia
Her compassion would have caused the auric atmosphere she took care of, feel comfortable and a place with lovingkindness.
An atmosphere with Love, kindness, and compassion infused in it, turns a house, a place, into a "home."
* Venus is with Hermes {rep for Mercury}
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermes
. .
Among other things (that you can read in above wiki article).
His symbol is the caduceus -- used as a symbol in 'Healthcare'.
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caduceus
. .
I see that among his concerns are 'boundaries' (property lines; striping and guardrails for roadways/traveling); 'boundaries' in regards to the practice of mental hygiene, includes one's personal emotional boundaries, for maintaining wellbeingness).
. .
Hermes was also present in the zone between life and death-- Can be found depicted on items associated with funerals, the passing of one's soul into the etheric realms, when those people 'die'.
* Venus in a bridge-across from Arachne
- http://www.greekmythology.com/Myths/Mortals/Arachne/arachne.html
. .
She had a talent and worked to hone it into a skill (for weaving).
She might have also had a high opinion of herself (boasted)-- that the goddess Athena was directly subjected to (or happened to have overheard), that irked her soo much that Athena decided to cut (her ego) down to size by turning her into a spider.
Whether Arachne had done it on purpose to brashly (foolishly) flaunt her skills 'in the face of' the known 'goddess of war' Athena, or if by chance Athena had noticed her hubris from behind the scenes, Athena turned her from human form, into a spider {for 'bugging' her like that?}! LoL
She'd now have to work and toil on the evolutionary level of a spider for the rest of her life.
. .
Archne has modern ties to an ability to 'network';
ability to weave loose strands and pieces together;
can handle complexities.
{ref. Martha-Lang Wescott}
* Hermes (Mercury rules your AC/MC, et al)
You must be a SUPER communicator!
* MC .. Public
Hephaestus ~ was born lame, with club-feet (according to depictions of this god on vases).
In one story I read, I 'remember' his mother being a real meany!!! She (Hera) felt repulsed and trashed him for his deformities. Rejection by the mother.
- http://www.britannica.com/topic/Hephaestus
In spite of his handicap, he was shown mercy and learned a skill (blacksmith, metal worker; metal-sculpture).
{note the other asteroid names in his grouping}
* MC .. Lucifer
Do you have any musical talents?
Been offered work as a Team Leader?
. .
Lucifer 'forgot' what he was made for.
Was made 'an elite' -- special above all the others.
Was created for an extra-special Purpose and given special attractive design and abilities.
Somewhere in Eternity,
he became 'self' aware.
The others were looking up in awe and adoration, which was supposed to be kept flowing as an atmosphere for where they all lived and moved {Highest Heaven created by his Boss {God}.
His EGO 'woke up'!!
He wanted 'for himself' what he had been entrusted with and placed in full charge of. He 'liked' the sense of The Power he wielded while he directed others. He began to 'feel' a separateness between himself and his Boss & Company. Crossing boundaries, he decided to 'steal' this Power for himself, convincing others to do this along with him TOO. They mounted an insurrection!
Great Guards and Messengers (probably) gave him and his others a chance to repent {to realize, and humbly change their minds hearts } a great WAR ensued-- the results of which got himself and those he misled cast OUT of what they once only-knew.
Created a split, division.
{Evil, was created 'from' the energies coalesced and living as separate inside of him}
Ego, self-awareness, the 'me'-greed, self-aggrandizement unrealized and therefore gone uncorrected can take one off-course and away from (higher) Purpose.
*
Eros .. People like to think of this as eroticism.
I had seen this described as belonging also to one's 'Will to Live'.
*
Nemesis .. When I dug into that story, there's a version of that story {from book The Chiron Dictionary.. mentioned above}.
She represents
"Humanity's Conscience"
{Avenger of human wickedness;
compensator of justice;
expressed general opposition for all wrong-doings.}
~*
Hope the two main approaches I've described can help.
Best to do? DIG IN.
Your understanding may be really strengthened by knowing how an asteroid relates to the others in its historic cultural approach.
(You hadn't mentioned zodiac signs involved.}
GO Deep!! *grin*
