I've read so much on this forum about Pholus conjunctions and how it explodes what it touches, but does the same thing apply with Pholus oppositions and squares? Is there still an explosion? What effect does it have on a planet?

For example, if someone has Pholus opposite Venus on their natal chart, would this person still feel an explosion for their love of beauty and romance?

The Pholus square confuses me even more

Does anyone know how to interpret them in natal charts and/or synastry?
