Linked to war, destruction, conquest, and bloodlust, Bellona was a mighty figure in the ancient Roman pantheon of gods. As a personification of war, Bellona became quite a popular figure in the arts of later ages. The image of the goddess, decked out in armor and wearing a plumed helmet while carrying a shield and brandishing a sword or spear, has graced many paintings and inspired poetry, music, and literature.
Bellona’s parents are believed to be Jupiter and Jove. Her role as a companion of Mars varies; depending on the myth, she was his wife, sister, or daughter.

Bellona is generally depicted wearing a military helmet and armour whilst carrying a shield and brandishing either a spear, a sword, a bloody whip or a blood red torch. This portrayal may originate from the 1st century poetic writings detailing her penchant for frenzied bloodlust, social subversion, chaos and mindless slaughter.

I am trying to find more information on how Bellona interacts with the natal chart.

I am interested to know other's observations of Bellona.

What kind of things are you willing to fight for?

I have bellona exactly conjuct pluto (.02 degrees) in my Sag11H. My 11th house is in scorpio, my 11th house ruler, pluto, being here has always made me think this house has extra significance
I wonder if this could mean i have powerful willpower when it comes to standing up for my beliefs and the human experience against corruption? (pluto-bellona 11H, Aqua rising)
I am unsure of Bellona's influence as of yet so I don't have any set in stone interpretations for how bellona can influence the natal chart.
Does anyone else have any ideas?

I have this on my Mars. I really love it. I have always had a deep kind of strength. I am not bragging. These things are from the charts. I rarely get deeply angry at people but the few times I have, people have learned not to mess with mee.This aspect gives inner strength.

This makes sense!! I have a Pisces Mars and Neptune in the first house so i don’t really enjoy fighting and try and steer away from it… im also a Gemini stellium so I don’t always know how to handle such intense situations however if someone touches my family or my partner, I go ballistic (cancer sun and and Saturn.) Bellona is the tightest asteroid aspect I’ve seen in my chart yet, and it is the only one I’ve found that is exact - i am glad to know it gives great inner strength, especially connected to Pluto, i feel that is an immensely powerful aspect - I want to tap into it more!!!
How tightly is she aspecting your Mars? These two energies must work together very well for you, considering the connection between bellona and Mars in mythology

I just realised I have RIP conjuct my bellona-Pluto conjunction… I will die fighting for something I love??? It makes a trine to my Jupiter in the 7th house, so maybe it’s fighting for someone I love?
