This is a rare Bosnian name (in the Balkan and Slavic traditions). The name and a diminutive of Zemira or Azema.

Zemira is a Hebrew biblical name which means Song, Vine and Palm. It also means Praise.

Azema or Azim means Perseverance. From Hebrew "עצם" meaning strenuous, bone, strength, might. It is also an unidentified site in the Negev of Judah toward the Edomite border, mentions the name in the bible. Means "perseverance" in Turkish.
