Aside from the Pop culture and historical figures involved with horror, what other asteroids would give hints that someone would appreciate the horror genre?

277- Elvira
17427- Poe
1346- Gotha
101383- Karloff
125071- Lugosi
22996- De Boo

I'm surprised there aren't asteroids for Shelley (Mary and Percy), Hammer (as in Hammer films), Peter Cushing, Vincent Price (there is a Vincent asteroid), Christopher Lee, or Stephen King.

I have Elvia in Leo h3
conjunct s. node
square Mercury
square Valentine
oppose MC
square Pallas

So this is my past/childhood. I see Elvia as corny spook which was appropriate for me as a child. I loved Nightmare Before Christmas. My mom said I would watch the movie multiple times a day when I was 3. She has repented to Jesus about letting me watch it. I also use to love this video game called "Zombie's Ate My Neighbors" Another corny spook game. I was allowed to play one game that was rated T when I was little called "Killer Instinct" I either liked being the only girl, or the skeleton named Spinal! So they had a few spook scenes. I hated fighting the werewolf though. Saborwolf! Because it really sounds like you are beating up a dog. It's awful.
Also my sibling (h3) my sister naturally makes a good goth chick. She has fair skin, and thick curly black hair. She also likes to talk to dead relatives. Likes reading about ghost, and aliens too. I also liked a few spooky kids books that were popular but I can't think of the names. Does teenhood count as S. node related stuff? Because I absolutely loved reading the Fear Street Books.
I can see the Mercury square playing out with this too. "You like spooky and violent stuff, there is clearly something wrong with you."
Square Valentine. My husband and I have the same tastes in a lot of shows and movies. But he did not like me wearing too much black. And would tell me I'm like a goth chick with out actually being goth. Does not like my goth music too. I have not had this problem in other relationships. Did not want to go to the spooky museum with me either. Until I told him that our marriage is way too toxic. Then the date became a priority.

And GCE2 who use to be on here told me I give off Elvira vibes.

I have Poe in Libra h5

square Neptune h8
trine NN and MC
sextile SN and IC
oppose Eris

I had to read some Poe literature for college. It was kind of a chore. I actually preferred reading writings from the Founding Fathers for that course, and Fredrick Douglass. I did like the Simpsons version of it. LOL Which is probably why we didn't get to read those writings. But as I was so bored reading one of his other writings...I had this nagging question about the Raven story. Why did the raven talk? Can raven's actually talk!? So then I looked it up, and yes they can. It's super fascinating! This reminds me to subscribe to The Falconry and Me. She shows her raven Fable. She can make lots of noises. I've always liked crows too. I use to see them a lot in my neighborhood. Not anymore. My mom nursed one back to health when I was little and I would read it my Snow White on Ice book. I also love when they have Poe on S. Park.

I have Gotha in Capricorn h8

OMG it conjuncts my Uranus!
sextiles Mercury and Pallas
opposes Chiron

I did not like wearing black when I was little. I blame magical kid shows. They good people were always wearing bright colors. Yep and Disney Princesses don't wear black. The girl Power Rangers don't wear black. You get it. It was very important that I was girly when I was little. I would fight and steal for the pink things with other girls. I started incorporating more when I was 14. But it really took off when I was 18. I will wear other colors though. I think there are benefits to wearing all colors. For occult reasons, phycological reasons, and to indirectly tell people how you are feeling/doing. I am usually a low key goth chick for a week when it's my time of the month. I actually started listening to more goth music when all those planets were in Capricorn a few years back. It started at the end of 2018. I was even blessed to work with an old school goth at my last job too. I found out this year that someone I've known for 8 years likes the same music as I do.

Black is not the most flattering color on my though. I feel like I look much better wearing black when I wear black make up with it. I feel like my face is washed out when I don't wear makeup. My senior year of HS I would refuse to leave the house if I was wearing black w/o black eye liner. When I wear black makeup with black clothes I feel sassy. When I wear black with out make up I feel like a sad pilgrim. I have wimpy eyelashes too. I've gotten more into navy blue, very close to black, but I feel like I glow more with out makeup with that color for some reason. Black does make the green in my hazel eyes pop more though. Blue makes the brown pop more though.

I have been embracing goth fashion more slowly but surely over the years. Nothing extreme. But enough for like Karen's and little kids to comment.

My mom will say "I'm just glad you aren't wearing a witch hat."
My niece will say "you wear a lot of black, and black is pee-ew"
one of my preschoolers said to me "you look like a Disney Princess, but Disney Princesses don't wear black dresses"
husband will buy me a beige Canadian Goose coat and say "they had a black one too, but you wear enough black"

Annyways black just makes putting an outfit together a lot easier.

Oh and since I've increased my black, listen to a lot of goth music, and burn lots of candles including black ones...my mom talked behind my back to my sister that she thinks I am witch. She isn't exactly wrong. BUT I can only imagine what she is thinking. Also like omg is she gonna get her prayer warrior friends on my case? It's also a little scary because she has that Puritanical bloodline that burned witches.

Gotha is tightly conjunct Neptune for me! I've only VERY recently started exploring the horror genre, as for me it was more of a lived experience than anything I could enjoy in the detachment of media. Neptune is also an apex to and part of two other Yods, so this is a big aspected asteroid, neat!

I am finding that the pace of which I'm exploring this genre is slow and steady and very grounded (Neptune in Capricorn, loosely conjunct Uranus and Saturn from either side). Unsure of the other asteroids yet, as they don't mean much to me.

Poe is familiar and homey to me; it's trine my Mars and conjunct my partner's Venus! They were the one to be patient enough for me to join them in the horror genre!

There's definitely a spiritual element to it all too for me, so there's that.

heres what i got from the first three...i don't know much about the others so i didn't research them

elivira is uninhibited sexuality, on the negative manipulative sexuality ...where you feel very confident sexually and know what you are doing there

poe is a tragic end, or something tragic we have to accept we can't have, or something we tragically loose

gotha i got secret sexuality....actually secret for sure ....not sure about sexual...for the most part it has shown up that way but i don't have enough charts to test it against

i just realized i misread your post
i was interpreting the ones you posted

there isn't an asteroid for shelley but there is shelly and it could be similar to the former

i have it come up as something we cling on to and in the end get but it ends up being bad
