I liked this thread...I'm B- All men on my fathers side have reddish air and green eyes. French descent. I'm trying to investigate my ancestors better. My hair is brown but gets reddish in the sun, no one believes it's my natural color. So annoying LOL

My eyes are brown :-( I wish I got the green/golden eyes...but oh well I still got the hair hehe.Considering my mom has black hair and black eyes I was still lucky. I'm not saying this is a bad way. She was extremely beautiful and still is lovely in her 60s. My dad is RH- too, mom is A+ IP: Logged |

I probably would run, because I believe they do not look that beautifull. But I also guess they are also afraid of us or me, so maybe it will be more of a encounter of two beast, that would than try to scare the other off IP: Logged |

I never understood this phrase completlyedit. I thought about beholder, like a beast and not like the person that looks. IP: Logged |

I have had many reptiles. Iguanas, 6 feet long and 30 pounds. Snakes, turtles, and more. The non venomous species have beautiful bird like eyes, not slit like angry looking ones. My best Iguana was a gentle affectionate and sweet loving lady who ate flowers mostly and loved to go for walkies on a lease and swimming in the bathtub or kiddies pool. She would actually close her beautiful eyes and sigh deeply over and over whilst listening to classical music and would sway gently to it. She totally hated country or rap music. None of these lovely creatures has shifty fast moving eyes like the venous ones do. Clear totally round pupils and lovely green or gold eyes! I miss her the most. As a child we had black tree snakes; they were 6 feet long and kept the house, basement and yard and garden free of vermin. People fear what they do not understand. As a child living for awhile in Georgia next to the Okefenokee Swamp; I used to feed the baby alligators whilst waiting for the school bus. They would come up the drainage ditches after rains. They loved egg salad or baloney sandwiches! Now even though not venomous; the bull gators were scary. Those guys were enormous! Like 13 feet long! And the venomous timber rattles snakes were very deadly. The cottonmouths and coral snakes and water-moccasins, and other venomous snakes were to be avoided for sure! Also not crazy about snapping turtles. The big ones can take a person's hand off! But the gentler species of reptile like my Iguana; I loved! We have rattle snakes and Massasaug here which are both pit vipers. They are both extremely venous and the Massasauga is listed on the endangered list; so it is a felony to kill them. Snakes take care of getting rid of many types of vermin, both insect and mammalian. People hate too often what they do not understand. IP: Logged |

They can be both cute and funny! They look rather cartoonish at times! If you throw the sandwich they will try to make their legs long and run on tippy toes to catch it. Sometimes they would get overexcited and attempt to stand on their hind legs. However cute they are; one must be very careful because they do have lots of sharp teeth and strong jaws! They can also move very very fast and unexpectedly! IP: Logged |

Full grown gators are rather benign to humans. It's the crocs that are so dangerous!IP: Logged |
