Here we can collect the "trippin" phenomena. Leary is very controversial. A genius, a risk taker, an initiator into a very dangerous practice and was hated by the establishment perhaps because he knew too much. Some of his quotes: "In the information age, you don't teach philosophy as they did after feudalism. You perform it. If Aristotle were alive today he'd have a talk show." "Think for yourself and question authority." "The universe is an intelligence test." "Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition." What if he had never taken acid?
What if there was no Acid during the 1960s hippie movement? Is his "Circuit Model of Consciousness" a modern version of Kabbalah? Why was he called "the most dangerous man in America" by President Richard Nixon? LSD was used by CIA for MKULTRA in the late 1950s. Leary spread the benefits of LSD in the 1960s. What if the masses were never to have been told of any of its possible benefits ? Shamans have been using natural entheogens for millenia to boost psychic power. Maybe LSD in the wrong hands [according to the establishment] could have created an out of control superbrain, something that even MKUltra was not prepared for? IP: Logged |

Please Note: Personally, I am against the usage of any kind of drugs for short cuts towards enlightenment. ex-Freemason Don Bradley is also spot on about the drugs effect on chakras. I believe conspiracy author Stewart Swerdlow also wrote against drug abuse having a deleterious effect on the Human Chakra System. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the feedback Star Fox. The thing is would Leary have become what he did had he not tripped on Acid? The inventor, Hoffman, was quite a proponent.Indian Tantriks did use plenty of natural psychotropic herbs but only after the Chakra systems were strengthened. Perhaps LSD should be tried only by highly experienced occultists, that too in minimal doses. Those who operate from higher chakras will surely not allow lower chakra/astral attachments to befall them. The problem with youngsters tripping in the 1960s was they may already have been drunk on alcohol prior to consuming LSD, that too in the wrong doses. Hence the lower chakras came into play, and they may have become more susceptible to subliminal Mind Control. Or even direct mind control. IP: Logged |
