Keep an eye on Gold and Silver, my dear Americans, as Wall Street and conniving politicians further conspire to rip you off of your dollar savings. If QE3 [another currency printing exercise] is authorized thanks to blackmail of short sellers smashing Dow Jones, you might suddenly see a bill from your bankers charging you for keeping money with them. And Gold would hit 2000 dollars an ounce. Silver may come to 60 dollars an ounce at this rate. So please shift some of your savings to Silver and a bit of Gold and Platinum. IP: Logged |

The way gold is going up, and the way equities are crashing and treasuries are being devalued, the writing is on the wall: Informed people are losing faith in the current fiat currency model. QE3 will bury the global currencies, and shoot Gold to 5000 dollars an ounce, something necessary to help change the world's economic system.Hypotheticaly, Gold can become 16000 dollars an ounce. On behalf of the Divine, India can pledge the gold found in Padmanabhaswamy Temple and the gold available in Tirupati to the bankers who claim interest dues from African countries and all people making less than 20K per year in the planet and having credit card debt, provided they waive the Interest on Interest. Only one time simple interest will be permitted, and as much principal as possible. The total valuation of the Gold in these two temples at 16K dollars an ounce for the correct Dollar to Rupee ratio is
12 trillion dollars. More than enough to pay off the debts of every individual citizen and many poor nations provided the Interest on Interest imposition is abolished. ------------------

IQ,That is a noble idea but in a world full of corrupt politicians it will never come to be.I presume most of them are not even disclosed as a matter of fact, these disproportionate assets are mostly amassed by dubious means and hence,It never seems to serve a noble cause. IP: Logged |

I have always wondered as to the practical purpose of gold as a Hedge of security when the means of acquiring it is through corrupt, illegal, fraudulent ways.Will it really serve its true purpose?
