I do have a pair of Bauer hockey skates I really like, though. They're comfortable and I think they make my feet look small, or at least not so big. There's nothing like running around outside in the freezing cold, on slippery ice, with razor-sharp blades attached to your feet. Bring the kids! IP: Logged
todd Knowflake Posts: 711 From: Registered: Jun 2009	posted October 15, 2015 07:27 PM I haven't personally seen a big foot but I have had two separate encounters told to me. one was by a surfer, many years ago. he was sleeping in his vehicle which was on a bluff overlooking a beach in south califorinia.about 2:00 am he went out6 to relieve himself and just glimpsed a "form going down the bluff and climbing up the other side about 100 yards. there were cars on that bluff also and it was when the creature pasted by these cars that he realized it was over 7 foot tall.this individual just turned to me after dinner with him and his wife and told me this. we had not be talking abut anything remotely connected to the occult or big . the second was a young girl who said whenshe was a brounie in santa cruz, her "troop " whe into the woods and sat in a circle shutting their eyes and just merging with the forest. she heard a rustle over a small creek and looked up to see a hairy big creature.as few more of the young girls started looking up and when the leader looked up the creature disappeared quickly. bot these renditions were no elicted by any previous conversation. these to just told me out of the blue. todd IP: Logged

todd Knowflake Posts: 711 From: Registered: Jun 2009	posted October 16, 2015 03:44 PM another "close encounter occurred in the early 70's when I was running a building crew in rural Oregon/Idaho I was based in the dallas Oregon during that time the newspaper reported a bigfoot city within the city limits. it was at dusk and as a man got into his truck he saw a large form in the street in front of him. he turned on his truck lights and momentarily saw a big foot before it moved into the forest again. another anecdote I heard while traveling in northern California some years ago had to do with an individual who decide to settle the question once and for all and hunt and shoot a bigfoot. it seems he was partially successful and wounded but did not capture the creature. but the next night his log cabin was "attacked" by poundings for several hours in the night. in the morning he found large footprints all around. he was quite shaken and decided to leave the area. he moved about 300 miles south, but unfortunately stayed in the mountain range. sometime later his body was found ripped apart next to his truck. of course these are only anecdotes. todd IP: Logged

I can't remember exactly the source but there was contemporary testimonials that attested to the honest and upright nature of the individual involved. rahu IP: Logged

todd Knowflake Posts: 711 From: Registered: Jun 2009	posted October 20, 2015 06:34 PM there is another anecdote from the same group that told me about the big foot revenge, but this has nothing to do with big foot. it seems this group of people were living in northern California and trying grow crops in a large garden, but the deer kept jumping the fence and eating their shoots. so the group formed a ring and "meditated" to ask the deer to respect their food source. lo and behold after that ritual they never had a problem with deer eating their vegetables again. todd IP: Logged

I've had a lot more encounters than that where I heard them or they hit me with little pieces of twigs or a small rock but that's the only sighting. Theyre all out there in all 50 states except Hawaii, even in AZ and NM, especially in the state and national parks. They're not all friendly. You should check out Missing 411 by David Paulides. There's also a lot on youtube. One of the best shows is Sasquatch Chronicles. Its true stories of encounters. IP: Logged
