Subject: Extraterrestrials

It's only very recently in life that I started looking into the subject of ETs and UFOs. (It just never really appealed to me. However, I have always known and said that, considering the size of the Universe, the odds of us being the only intelligent life in it are too ridiculously low to believe.) I still know very little. But, on the subject of Area 51, I'll say this: a weather balloon requires no secrecy, no cover-up. That in itself tips the government's hand, as far as I'm concerned.

Anyhow. Whenever I would listen to Apollo Poetry's song "Conspiracy Theory", which is mostly about aliens, certain images would come to mind. So I decided to finally make some use of the video editing program I've had for ages and make one of those "slideshow"-style videos we've all seen. Being my first attempt at producing video, I didn't have the prowess to do anything too fancy, but I did try to jazz it up with a few imaginative effects.

Most of the work was finding and editing the images used, as I wanted to use mostly real photos of the actual subjects Apollo raps about in the song. You should be able to tell which few are fictional. Oh, I even managed to squeeze Linda Goodman into it, briefly.

So, music by Apollo Poetry, video by me (I was using the nickname 'Theo Neandonly' at the time, don't let that confuse you if you watch the credits roll at the end). Hope you like it.

I know, right? I'd have expected a video, of all things, to garner more responses...

I think lyrics are a bit troublemaking, majorities tend to not respond in a good way to b*tch-slaping. ( Even if it tells some good fragments of truth ).
It would be a pity if the brave person that wrote such lyrics gets in trouble, ( I have no idea how... exactly the criminal code or the laws generally speaking operate in the US ) but this is the kind of artist that fills the prisons just as He said. Formalists tend to label those fellas as 'bad riots' or just promoters of fear/chaos and Anarchist ideals. And that's exactly when injustice happens

Btw, are you the one who made those Photoshop editings? They are actually very well done... I always loved how those Tuxedo-Corporation dudes get mocked by such editings haha... It's actually kind of funny y'know...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

~ Hmm... must add that lyrics seems to be influenced by what Mr. Milton William Cooper said back some years ago. I believed the dude
Only an asleep person would think that there's nothing suspicious about a Man shot dead by Police because dude didn't pay Taxes.

On the other hand,
I guess next time you should use some "Iguana" pics, because those Zetas seem to be the last thing we should worry about.
Hmm... I think you might enjoy an Anton Parks' book, it's called Le secret des étoiles sombres. It may be available in English as well...

A lot of the more involved Photoshop editings are the work of artist David Dees (though I substantially altered two of them). Look him up, he's extremely talented and his work -- mostly political satire -- is thought-provoking.

The rest of the graphic editing was, yes, done by me. It's very rare that I incorporate any of someone else's work at all into my own; I usually prefer to be completely original. But I was already adding video to someone else's song, and the ideas for it were majorly inspired by Dees' work, so... you know?

For example, my personal website is 100% my work. I'm so against using stock graphics that I even took the time to design the picture-frame borders that surround my portraits.

But, alas, such effort is rarely appreciated.

(Why is it that when I tell people I've made a website, and give them the URL, they act like I'm trying to hand them an envelope of Ebola? Why do most of the few who do actually visit it just spend five seconds glancing at the front page? More mysteries of life, yeesh.)

So thank you for noticing!

Oh, speaking of "trouble": Apollo got banned from YouTube because of my video. (Their justification was some vague allusion to "controversial content".) This was his response, which I got afterward:

Now that is a man with integrity.

It's now a few years later, and he finally has a new YouTube account (he used Vimeo in the meantime).

You know, I'm always rather shocked when my actions have an effect in the world. Most of the time I feel like I'm pouring my energy into a void.

What effect are you trying to have?

Put like this, say your vid went viral and was even believed. What would you realistically hope to see? Because if it's all true then the change I'd see of people waking up to it is that those empty prisons ready to hold millions will no longer be empty. Unless you have something in mind? (Surely not that people would vote Libertarian or Green or whatever, as if the same people who did and prepared all of this would honor such an election.)

Btw, I loved this from the novel Conspiracies as Repairman Jack is speaking with a militia leader preparing to fight the New World Order:

quote:
"...But I can't help wondering why these New World Order types should bother with an armed takeover. I mean, considering how nowadays people are slugging away at two and three jobs to make ends meet, how Mr. and Mrs. Average American are working until mid-May every year just to pay their federal income tax, and then after those they got to fork over sales taxes, property taxes, excise taxes, and surcharges, not to mention all the hidden expenses passed on in day-to-day prices jacked up by licenses fees and endless streams of regulations from OSHA and all the other two-bit government regulatory agencies.

"By the time Mr. and Mrs. Citizen are through they've surrendered 75% of their earnings to the bureaucracy. Seems to me the NWO boys have already got you right where they want you."

"No, no, no!" Kenway said, his face reddening as he shook his head. "An armed takeover! That's how it will happen! That's how they'll take away our freedoms and make us slaves, make us property!"

"As I see it, that's pretty much what you already are. If and when this takeover comes, the only difference will be you'll no longer be able to kid yourself that you're not property."

Well, now, PixieJane! Here is a subject (the "Great Work of the Ages", as "they" call it amongst themselves) that I'm delighted to see you have thought through thoroughly.

Repairman Jack saw it clearly, too, and that's why I've often said that "if there isn't a physical confrontation, it will be because they've already won by default."

What a pickle the human race finds itself in, eh?

And the "effect" I was referring to as shocking to me was that someone's YouTube account was cancelled (an inconvenience for him, at the very least) and it was directly related to an action I took (making the video). As I'm just one relatively tiny and unknown fish in the enormous Internet ocean, I never expect my actions to send ripples very far -- not least of all because when I have tried to deliberately reach out to the general public, my efforts have fallen flat.

As for "what effect I'm trying to have", that would be to participate in the feedback loop/spiral of learning and teaching that propels earnest truth-seekers upward to new levels of insight.

Thanks, I can understand wanting to achieve insight. It's not something too many people are interested in, however, so it surprises me when "just the joy of knowing" or "solving the puzzle" is the crux of the matter.

The unknown fascinates and awes many (while scaring others), and I've liked how the explorers, investigators, and archeologists seeking truth for its own sake can be as compelling to people in stories as any action hero fighting for justice.

Conspiracy lore is equally frustrating and intriguing in how easily it morphs and how it often seems to tie in to many other aspects of not only society but even reality itself. It's not like a puzzle where the pieces fit, either, and yet even so it can make sense out of a world that makes no sense. And it's so easy to run into...start researching Bigfoot and you'll eventually learn how such is often sighed with UFOs which can lead to researching Roswell and then the JFK assassination (and all the others who ended up dying fast connected directly and indirectly to him, including Marilyn Monroe whom my mother was fascinated with and believes that she was murdered in part due to her association with JFK, though not in regards to UFOs as others do).

For some it's an obsession to confirm their religious and/or ideological beliefs (by embracing anything that will and rejecting anything that doesn't in a very opportunistic and dishonest manner), to others it's touching (and becoming part of) a much larger stage, and either can finds themselves in something of a crusade that they have to warn the world (though what can be done about it is almost always left unanswered) and get frustrated by all the resistance from other conspiracy theorists with an alternate view to those who refuse to even consider the matter.

And yet for others it's even fun (though not necessarily relaxing), like a crossword puzzle, a mystery that teases their mind so that they must learn all that they can. While they may have ethical, ideological, or religious concerns their primary concern is solving the mystery (even if doing so were to cause them to question everything they ever believed, a place that most people don't ever want to go, not even among many conspiracy theorists) and peeking at the man (or whatever) behind the curtain. These people can be inspiring to me.

Many people also don't know that the Census Bureau helped and believed their denials for decades, and even now don't see how the information given to census takers could be used to harm them (granted, the information can be used to help as well, knowledge is power and whether it's used for good/weal or evil/woe/oppression is up to the humans involved), just one of many things that was denied by the government that was later found to be true. And FDR openly called the camps (for Germans and Italians as well as Japanese) "concentration camps" rather than internment (granted, there isn't much of a difference, especially before the end of WW2).

That said, if millions have to be put in camps then things have already fallen apart because I can't think of anything more inefficient and dangerous to the powers that be (and unless it's only minorities targeted then runs the real risk of the military siding with the civilians against the government, a factor in the February Revolution when soldiers refused orders to fire upon their own friends & family and instead joined the rioters against the Czar and the military officers). And yet being inefficient and stupid hasn't stopped many governments from trying it out anyway.
